My car made it on the Lake Taupo and is headed for Davisville, RI! @tna3 did your car make it on? TYD has the ship arriving 10/20 but the Davisville berthing schedule has it arriving 10/17. I'm pumped!
Congrats! I’m still at port according to TYD with 2 days before delivery LOL
Car entered production 7/26 with 3 pictures including assembled one coming about 10 days later.
Was scheduled to exit production 8/26, then 9/4, then 9/26, now 10/20 as of yesterday. Just odd, sitting at the factory somewhere waiting for something, yet almost no options....probably the smoking or storage package for $0.
Looking at end of November-December delivery from an original 10/2.
In bizarre TYD fashion my T completed production today 10/6 out of nowhere after sitting somewhere in the factory for 60 days from early August assembly picture.
New delivery date is beginning of November with ALOT having to happen for that to work out. I still expect end of November, but definitely getting real with an actual vin and produced car.
Me too! My car has left Emden too! 13days for me! So are we in the Aristotle then?
Also on the Siem Aristotle. Found a site that appears not loose satellite position across the North Atlantic. Funny how exciting it can be to see a ships progress.
Siem Cicero is moored in Davisville. Hopefully it gets unloaded quickly but could take several days yet. Nice that it appears to be 3 days ahead of TYD schedule.. Good luck everyone.
Just as a datapoint, my GT3 arrived in RI on the 27th, left Davisville yesterday afternoon and arrived at the dealership this morning. So was 8 days at the inbound port.
TYD had shown 1 day at the port. The dealership's internal tracking system didn't show any kind of quality hold or reason for the delay. And the car is still fully covered with all the transportation protection stuff they put on, leading me to think no work was performed on the car at port.
That led me to believe Davisville is maybe a little backed up at the moment.
So... if your car spends a few days at port, don't stress over it being due to anything bad. It might not be delayed at all, but if it is, it's probably just the volume of cars they're dealing with these days.
Thanks for the info, where is your dealer? Our ship just moored this morning at Davisville.
