Yes. I believe first round went out on launch. I waited for a second round of allocations and got one on March 1st for Summer build. For what it’s worth, I’m in Miami, FL (3 dealers within 30 miles and lots of sales)

Sebvelez- Congratulations. Did you talk about discounts off the price or about lease payments when talked to your dealer?

My car was in production this week as were a number of others that are headed to the US. The delivery date seems to be mainly tied to when Porsche gets EPA certification for the cars. Has anybody received any information from Porsche addressing when this should occur?

Typically with the EPA, the manufacturer will know that the vehicle has passed testing/certification about one month before the official documents go to the manufacturer to create the required vehicle labels.

My car went to V260 today. I was originally told the estimated exit from port San Diego was 6/14. Delivery a few days later. Today I was told estimated Dealer Inventory is 7/12. When I inquired why it will take a month (125 miles)to get to the Dealer I was told they do not know how long EPA will take so they are allowing almost a month. As the dealer said,” it’s a little bit of a moving target”.

YoungTurk,

I’m in Dallas and I got my allocation locked in on 12/18/18. According to Porsche it went into production today and will enter the exit port on 4/12. Right now it is supposed to be in Houston on 5/12 and in Grapevine at the dealer on 5/24. But as everyone has said most of the dealer screens show a delivery of 7/12. I think that is related to unknown EPA cert timing.

That said, I was at the Dallas auto show and saw the car. It looks great in person. Much better than online. Also I asked about eta for EPA cert and of course they said we know nothing.

My build in case anyone is interested. http://www.porsche-code.com/PL3GUQ94

Same here - my car should be V260 next week and I have a dealer inventory of 7/12 too. The July date seems like a placeholder for all initial allocations...

Thank you! In my case it was tough to get the allocation to begin with (lots of interest down here for 992), and I’m doing a European delivery in September so they were even less motivated because it’s less profitable... so sadly no discount. I know some have gotten discounts and I’m sure that’s happenning more and more often.

The first of the North American 992's have been built. Although as others have said it's likely more of an issue with epa approval than anything. There are literally thousands of new Macans built but parked waiting.

Looking good! I ordered same color and wheel (without gold emblem); first pictures I’ve seen of combo so thank you for posting. And great comments BTW... so far I think your comments hold the most weight of any having owned the previous generation and being an early adopter. Can’t wait to see more pictures and hear more impressions!
