hi, would you tell me what makes euro delivery different than others? I myself paid extra for euro delivery as well ,tBH i dont even know why I chose euro delivery :/
Got the call that should I want to proceed, I can move forward with 992 GTS order (been waiting almost a year, and been enjoying a 718 BGTS 4.0 for last 4-5 months). Life is short and can see me pressing on, but am mindful of a couple of things - mainly the 992.2, however assuming the GTS is released 1+ years after the base/S, its a bit unnecessary and I don't like the approach of always waiting for the next best thing. Saying that, if I did press on with a July allocation, I assume that would build 3Q or 4Q, and that would be a MY2024?

My car was finished mid April and it showed it going back and forth from the port to the factory on TYD for about 2 1/2 months. I suspect it was quality control issues also, but that’s a guess. I finally made a boat to Baltimore last week and looking at taking delivery very soon. Good luck and hang in there.
Thanks. It helps to know others have experienced something similar and it got worked out. Maybe waiting will make taking delivery all that much sweeter! Thanks again and best of luck to you!
It’s interesting. The paperwork from my dealerships has my car is a 2024 but nothing I see in TYD or anywhere under my account says the year of the car. Any year. Where am I missing it?

Exactly. If you wait for 992.2, then once that comes, maybe you should wait for the next generation. That logic will always keep you on the sidelines. I say go for it, and enjoy! The other consideration is that the mid-cycle refreshes aren’t typically earth shatteringly different with 911s.

Exactly! It also seems from these forums that once you have a car, it’s easier to get an allocation for a new model if you are willing to trade.

I don’t think you will see any indication in TYD, except via the VIN number. If you are far enough along in the build process to have that, the 10th digit should be “R” for 2024.
So, what do you all think about a TYD date that is 2 weeks overdue to leave Emden? With the Lake Wanaka arriving in Halifax on Monday, what are the chances my TTS is on that ship but TYD never updated? Anyone have a crystal ball? I'm sure there are plenty of times that cars have arrived in CAN/USA while TYD still showed it was in Emden. (Looking for some moral support here!!!)

My dates to leave Emden->Halifax were very similar to yours if I recall correctly. In fact, my "released for transport" date is the exact same as yours. Originally, I was expecting to be on the Supreme Ace that left Emden on the ~26th, but I ended up missing that boat. The reason I know I missed that boat is that I was loaded on to Lake Wanaka which left Emden on the 7th. I actually got the notification that I was on this boat, so I knew at that point I was definitely not on the Supreme Ace. Considering this, and the fact that I haven't heard of anyone just arriving at the destination port without getting a "left port" notification, I don't think you are on either the Supreme Ace or Lake Wanaka. There is always a chance though.
Sunshine Ace is docking at Emden later today, and is headed to Halifax as it's first destination. I would be more optimistic of getting loaded on to this boat at this point.

Mistakes can be made, but my dates came and went for 3 months before I was on a ship. I wouldn't get concerned about having the check issued quite yet.
