Yep! Mine too!

Seem surreal. Just locked in the order June 15th - got lucky with a last minute cancel.

Look at your VIN: the tenth letter should be an R representing MY 24

I’m in the same boat. My dealer has a large contingent of “regular” buyers who are waiting for PTS allocations to open and passed on the June allocation. Makes me wonder how much longer I would have waited if I didn’t get that June allocation. At least until next April as there are at least 3 in front of me waiting for PTS.

except 991.1 to 991.2 went from NA to turbo across the board. But I agree, get one now. It is always possible to trade or order another one down the line.

That was not a typical refresh

Congrats! That’s longer than my order saga. Started in the fall of ‘21. Mine is on a boat somewhere in the Atlantic. Carmine looks great.

It appears that SIEM CICERO will make it to Sparrows Point first but will either leave a short time later and make room for CONFUCIUS to unload beginning Sunday afternoon. Assuming CONFUCIUS arrives on schedule, all Baltimore-bound 992s aboard the CONFUCIUS should be unloaded by mid-day on Monday!

At least you got fixed dates, mine has such a wide range of estimates.

Anyone with their car sitting at Davisville, RI get any updates this week? Mine was dropped off by Supreme Ace on the 11th/12th and I haven't heard anything yet about getting released or put on a truck for my dealer

Officially graduating.

I got a surprise call from a dealer back in early April for an available Carrera S allocation. I only had a few days before it locked. They wanted $15k ADM. It was a 2023 so getting it would avoid the 2024 price increase. I was able to negotiate the ADM down to $12k, which effectively became a $2k ADM since an identical 2024 was $10k more expensive. I’ve built so many configurations on the configurator that it took me 5 minutes to make the build and submit to my SA. The car took just over 3 months from the time I got the call until the car arrived.

Loved the journey and love the car.

Congratulations! I got a little lost trying follow your cost logic since a 2023 is not a 2024 when it comes to resale. But really there is no reason to justify your purchase just enjoy it. And since the 992 has been out for a while we can expect a lot of quirks (especially software related) have been well sorted by now.

Default Back in the waiting room…

Hello.

Well, I’m back in the waiting room. Keeping my ‘22 cab, but just got an allocation for ‘24 GTS. Pretty excited. Feature locking 8/31, delivery October.

No updates to dealer nor myself via TYD.

Mine has been there since June 26th along with some other folks in this thread. Not sure if anyone else has gotten any good news but my dealer has no info for me. His system still shows 7/7 for delivery and my TYD has 7/3.
