The handles aren't too bad in person; I didn't find them to be a problem or glaring issue. The issue that Harris had could be an unfortunate bug with the particular car Porsche loaned him to test.

^ My fingers slipping off twice in one day wasn't a bug or a glitch. Just bad, unergonomic design.
As for adding electric motors where they weren't needed? Another bummer. Only thing I can say for the handles is they are flush. But I don't think they look or function better than the 991.2 handles...

As has been pointed out:
"The reporter most likely did not know that the door requires two pulls when locked and one when not. Irksome when one blames the car for a lack of time to read the manual. One has to wonder if he will figure it out somehow on his own or if he will be like the Beverly Hillbillies when the doorbell went off..."
Thats right up there with noting that you can't reach the opposite door like you could in air cooled cars. Next he'll complain that newfangled Porsches leave no oil on his garage floor.

I'm shocked that with all the eyes on this car for approval, including the executive board that some of these cosmetic blunders made it past the drawing board.

I thought that just the exterior handles themselves were electronically operated as a means of having them extend and retract. Are the door latches themselves electronic releases as well?
