There’s some roads by me that I have driven now for years and I am always playful when taking a few of the turns aka I like to let the back come out and I’ve tried it a few times now same rpm same speed same everything and the instead of cutting loose it just dug in. I was pretty amazed.
RWS was very noticeable prior (was never a big fan of it). It now seems to mask it a bit.
The car is so good now I barely post. I just come to see what @f4bones has up his sleeve 😬

Just one man’s opinion but having crossed 11k miles i can say I believe the car handles better than before. This is based on road driving only.

Looks promising! Warning says function only available in Race driving mode, but display looks like you are already in Race driving mode…?

Up very late with Mars trying to sort through this, but I think we figured it out. Had to do a long firmware upgrade on the instrument panel . . there are now 3 modes: normal, sport and track, just like GT3, and you can only vary the settings in track mode . . . I will go test drive this morning, but looking very promising!

Impressive and good luck!
as for the post above, I’m still running track settings for tire pressure. 28 F/30 R. Would be curious to compare with going back to stock pressure. Might try it soon.

OK - just back from a short drive - everything seems to be working! There is SO much adjustability with the RS system - kind of overwhelming. I concentrated mostly on the dampening, and pretty dramatic difference between full soft (-4) to full hard (+4) - not quite sure where the happy spot is. After I confirmed it is actually working, I set the suspension to full soft, and seemed very similar to the S/T settings, but really can't opine at this point.
I guess the take away is if you want to fiddle with the system, the RS configuration allows you almost INFINITE fiddling possibilities . . certainly would be fun for track. It seems that the only hardware upgrade required is the RS steering wheel w/ controls - we were able to update the other modules firmware to accept coding. It's a LOT more involved than the S/T update, but definitely doable and pretty nifty. One interesting cool feature is that in track mode (the only mode where you can adjust the settings), you have the option to automatically configure for track tire pressure, and you get a small icon of a race way with an R showing you have selected TRACK tire pressures . . .
Still a bit of work to do as we haven't programmed the PCM and the configuration options in the PCM menu don't quite match the options you get when you press the center button of the mode button. . . the center button of the mode display give you more options to configure.

Has anyone driven an ST and a modified 992 GT3 back to back (or close enough)? I am curious if the mod is how a real ST drives and handles....
We know there are some hardware differences on the 2 cars (steering anyway) do we know they have the same roll bar thickness and settings?
