Please give a beer to the dude at Porsche that did the damper settings! (And @rnlst_log and @f4bones of course ).

Somebody Need to tell him. : )

i now come with an equation:
-GT3 Touring with Manual----> S/T suspension
-GT3 Touring with PDK-----> Dakar Suspension.
Anyone interested?

So 1 week passed and several km of awful polish roads I can honestly write that this change saved my relationship with my car. Since day one (and 700 passed) I thought about selling it once I daily it, and i was really very pissed with dampening most of the times and mad sometimes. Now it's quite livable, don't feel any drawbacks so very happy with it and totally recomend it.
Many thanks once again to @rnlst_log

Yes, same here, makes you fall in love with car over again by removing those cringe and wince moments when hitting a bump or any surface irregularities and focus on all the other amazing elements of the GT3 driving experience on public roads.

I've just taken delivery of my '22 Touring in the last few weeks and am torn as to whether to do this programming update or not just yet. Wondering whether I should live with it and get to the point of frustration before having the S/T suspension tune come in for the rescue Current ride I would describe as very firm, not crashy, definitely wince-worthy on certain urban roads.

Drove a bit yesterday and intentionally drove over road imperfections...the S/T coding is a game changer. So much more enjoyable on the street! Thanks again @f4bones and @rnlst_log ! It's just perfect!

Congrats! I say get used to the car for a few miles but then switch over to the S/T damping! You will notice the difference immediately on the street.

@f4bones & @rnlst_log do you think this modification would work on a 992 S with Bilstein coilovers?

I wouldn't wait - just do it - no downside whatsoever! On the 992 S - I really don't know, but as everything is different, probably not. But, as it's all just software flashing, couldn't hurt to try - just have to pay Mars to spend a few hours with you and see! You can always easily flash back to stock, so I would highly encourage you to try, and if it works, maybe it will be something the S community will want. . .

If bilstein installed is adaptive damper, it will work.
But if its just standard shock without active dampening. No benefits

Yeah I'm so torn. So it sounds like the only potential downside is some loss of sharpness in steering?

I would say it is minimal on the streets in normal mode. Sport and Track feel just as sharp to me. But that could be because of compliance now. Sounds like you are already familiar with your car...if so then do the update. If you aren't "used" to the car yet, then could wait a bit. That is what I meant on the prior post.

ST owner chiming in here. Do it. The damping is superb. I don’t see any negatives at all. It’s has a lovely compliance when you want it and it still razor sharp.

Perhaps I missed it but how does this make the car corner and handle, that is not in straight line comfort ?
