992 GT3 vs GT4 RS

Both different animals; after about 1500km in the two; on the road I prefer the touring solely based on the manual. Can’t wait for the track to open as I think the 4RS will be a absolute riot.

Beautiful cars. I came to a different conclusion. I have had a Porsche GT variant of each since the 997.1 GT3RS. The GT4RS gives back more to the driver than any of them. No car makes you grin harder. It's the best thing to drive Porsche has put out under $225,000 in over a decade in my experience and much more exciting than my 992 GT3 Touring was. That's my take at least. Pin pulled grenade thrown LOL! But seriously - its true.

I’m very thankful to have the opportunity to enjoy these with my friends. I’m definitely doing my best to get out for good times/ life long experiences I’ll always remember then worry about rain, snow or resale value. Too much time at work, this is the best therapy.
Enjoy your 4RS brother.

Thats great to hear! Ive only enjoyed them both on the road(and with winters only) and have a couple lessons set up as soon as the track opens up. I assumed the touring with manual would be hard to beat on the road, and the 4RS will be bonkers at 9/10s plus on the track. My driving skills aren’t anything special, so auto will help.

According to Mitch McKee (M Performance) on the TST podcast, they have a different ECU tune from the factory as well. I have no way of validating that but Mitch has certainly seen and tuned far more of these cars than almost anyone else so I have no reason NOT to believe him.

Hey Guys,
I'm taking delivery of a GT4 RS at the end of December and I'm looking for a 992 GT3 owner (in Northern California Ideally) to come drive with us so we can film a comparison video of the two cars. You would have access to driving the GT4 RS all day while we filmed the GT3 and get to experience that. We're also going to be renting out Thunderhill 2 or 3 mile in February or March for a private track day to film an on-track comparison video with real lap times. You would again be able to drive the GT4 RS (and your GT3) on a completely empty track. You would just need to get to the location and pay for lodging.
If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be, please comment here or private message.
Thanks!
Chase (Car Honey)
P.S. Photos of the allocation attached (Shark Blue, Weissach, and White Gold Wheels).
