GT3 992.1 production concludes?

LMFAO my dealer got their only GT4RS on an allocation trade with another dealership who "didn't want it". ONE OF SEVENTY FIVE IN AMERICA??
The Cayman community should be fuming. That car is like the swan song of the cayman, probably won't be made again correct? Going all-electric and whatnot. I knew it would be special, but I didn't want one so I didn't ask.
These production numbers are kind of a big deal, even for the GT3 production numbers. Not that many compared to what they probably wanted to make.

Except take the minus 288 for PDK Tourings 992's and you get the apples to apples number. So approximately 540 manual Tourings. IE-992.1 Touring manuals are more rare than 991.2. Actually are there even 540 911R's in the states? Either way its a rare car for sure!

I know several here are avid MT fans, but the number of MT, according to those docs, is pretty amazing.

If you guys are looking at cars with low production - take a look at ZL1/1LE numbers - they have only produced under 4,000 for the entire model run! Estimates for 2022 are only around 10 cars are so due to production restriction and supply chain issues.

The real rare birds are the PDK tourings. Not that it really matters. I remember when I specced my 991.2 touring there was a lot of shade being thrown around on RL that the touring is nothing special just an option pack and not even a real gt3. Regardless I would not have purchased a gt3 and kept my 991.1 GTS if they didn't come out with a wingless gt3. The tourings are special to me and I don't think I'm alone with that sentiment. Enjoy your car it's a beast!!
you’re right they are rarer but I think a pdk touring is silly. So in essence it helps the manual tourings in the long run. Add that along with all the flamboyant and some just plain ugly specs and I think the 992.1 manual touring will always be a highly sought after trim.

Honestly I think a large part of it is the resale market. People know that MT sell for more ever since the 991.2 reintroduced it so if they are trying to flip the car or want to hedge against future pricing, the MT is a better financial choice for them. There is no shortage of "used" 992 GT3s with MT on auto trader, etc with almost no miles.

Seems like an awfully low number, but let's see where we formally end. Wish we had the granularity of info that was posted on the 991.2 GT3 production stats (which included paint and option split).
The MY23 production of 79 Tourings surprises me the most. I reckon that is likely alone the number of MY22s that had to spill over into MY23s (I am one of such).
