GT3 992.1 production concludes?
#16
A buddy’s car went into production in June and was around production unit number 8600. I went into production July of 2021 and was around 850. So, that’s around 750 a month of production? If production ends in December, it’s looking like 12k GT3s.
That seems in line or more than before.

How many are you thinking will be the final total?

My said they got a total of 18 GT3s/Tourings so far with 5 of those being Tourings. They are a top 10 dealership so I'm guessing on average dealers got 10 +/- cars so that would put the total to around 2,000+ GT3s for the US as my guess and maybe we end up around 3,000 +/-

I didn't ask how many 991.2 GT3s they got but they mentioned that the amount of 992.1 GT3s is lower.

The interesting part with the 992.1 GT3 VS the RS as well is the Gt3 is really the only one of the two thats really decent for the road vs the 991.1 or .2 Gt3 to Gt3RS that were both pretty good for the road even with the RS being more track focused. Will be interesting to see where the 992 GT3 actually settles value wise with its production basically over with respect to the rest of the rest of the car market. Either way, does seem like a shorter run overall.

Posting this over from the corvette forum, where a member has access to total PAG sales for the US. Total My23 numbers! ( I have no way of proving authenticity, but he seems legit)
These totals seem extremely low!

I have a MY 2023 PTS winged build which is slated to start production on 1/13/2023 according to TYD. Now, that was scheduled for November build at one point but as with everyone, the dates keep moving. So, there may be very few produced, but there are still definitely 992.1 GT3s being built.
