Yep. Exactly what I get. I have an October build and only got my commission number two weeks ago.

Well Porsche managed to jump on the same bandwagon as other manufacturers have with by making their customers purchase a much less than desirable experience. They will drive more customers away form the brand. There are equal or better choices out there for folks who can afford them.

the old ways of 'meaningful business relationships' are mostly gone with many auto dealers. there are some left and many here still get their cars at msrp (consider yourselves blessed), but the trend im reading is it's fading...fast. i mean, 18 transactions over 3 years and no love. 5 cars in 8 years and no love at msrp. with uncertain macroeconomic times i guess it's easier to abandon those relationships and go for the big money than look towards consistent buyers. and with the new generation of young wealthy people, maybe dealers are thinking they don't need those relationships anymore, they'll always have buyers and want to line their wallets too. interesting times...

I never like saying things like never, but it is hard honestly to be excited over Porsche the brand not the product. The product is second to none in my opinion but the brand is ****.
As I said in an earlier thread, I put down my deposit for a 296, and my purchase experience has been on a whole other level better compared to Porsche. Granted they charge you way more.
I don’t know, Ferrari and McLaren seem like a more compelling brand now compared to Porsche, life is just way too short to be dealing with this.

Nice pick up, was it a PTS car or just highly optioned? My build was just under $310k and I checked a lot of the boxes....WP, mag wheels, lift, LED headlights, black PCCBs, etc.

Thanks for that. I contacted the dealer and they confirmed it’s a ‘24. Apparently the build process barely started and came to a halt either due to delay in parts or other GT cars getting precedence. Whatever it is, I am ok, somethings are worth the wait.

My RS spec locks soon and I can’t decide on the color… either black or ice grey. I’ve looked at pictures and seen both in person but may have to flip a coin. Fortunately both look good but may decide to go ice since with likes the brightness and elegance of it 🍦

Both are nice, remember that black is a solid color, wouldn't drive 10 sec without PPF. If you go weissach, the carbon is less visible on dark colors.

Both are great, but I agree with the above post that the contrast of the carbon bits look better with a lighter color. The silver decals also look great on a black car though. Can't go wrong with either.

For the guys who are waiting on PTS approval (sitting at V110), has your car shown up on your myPorsche web portal or your app yet? Mine has not and even though I have a commission number, and try to add it manually on the web portal, it says that my commission number is not currently supported.
