Sure. I depends on your market I guess, but these 4 (of the 14 delivered in total) in Norway are all WELL below MSRP, which on todays configurator starts at 2587000NOK before ANY options. That’s 225000€ base MSRP. All the listed cars have WP, some Mags and PCCB which adds another 50000€’s on top of that. My car is CXX, PTS +++ and another 50000€’s on top of the red one and dealers aren’t interested talking to me when I approach them.

I wasn’t allowed to put the link in. Here’s a screenshot of all available GT4RS for sale in Norway at the moment.

The four for sale as of now. All well below MSRP which should be around 290-3000000NOK with all normal bells and whistles. My car is 500000NOK on top of that with PTS, Stripe, CXX+++

Base MSRP at the moment. Just up another 31000NOK (~2900USD)

Previous MSRP from last week

The MSRP where you are is really really high it seems

those prices are in line with the USD market with mark up tacked on

yeah, your MSRP are so high. The cheapest one there is 207k euro. I can get a brand new one with WP and Mags 200k euro here. You are correct …depends on market

Yes it’s quite steep. Here’s the 911 S/T pricing.

Good thing there is no lease demand here in Norway as I think it’s illegal for Porsche to make such demands, but I had to sign a paper not selling the car for 12 months. I was offered the car at base MSRP 414437USD. But as they wouldn’t buy back my GT4RS or even make an agreement to trade it in when the S/T arrived, I had to let the S/T go.

I am so happy with this car, it drives and sounds so good. Up to 400 miles now not taking it over 5k just yet but even at these revs its so exciting to drive. You will be in for a real treat these STs really are something very special.

I saw you mention 43 years of driving Porsches. Do you mind mentioning some of the others that gave similar excitement levels and maybe some comparisons to those cars?

Default S/T differences and feel

I have had multiple Carreras, GTS’s, Turbo’s, T, since ‘95 and the new transmission, shifter, clutch make the car more fun to drive than my others. Maybe it a new feel but it is a real good feel. PDK is beyond great but fun factor really kicks in with S/T.

It's all in the shorter gearing in what your feeling these sensations from. The transmission is just a connecting point to the gear ratio and that Peppy nature that folk describe from the ST is all gearing.

Good Question, like has been mentioned in a lot of reviews this ST drives/rides and sounds like older 911s. The inside sounds reminds me of an 204bhp 911SC I had in the early 80s on which I removed most of the sound proofing . The steering feel reminds me of the 99740RS, but better in so much as it has more feel. The bench mark for steering for me prior to the ST was Macs 675LT, the ST is better. One thing I noticed on this morning early ride was the amount of grip that this car has that you can actually feel the camber stability from the DWB front end due to the softer set up. I know its the RS engine but in the ST it feels like its got more Torque lower down, its just picks its heels up in every gear and just shoots for the Horizon. Been Lucky over the years to have owned and driven on road and track 2.7 210bhp Carrera 930 Turbos, Inc Flat nose, and LEs, 87 3.2 G50 Club Sports, 964 RS, and Turbos, lots of 996s Inc the RS and GT2, 997GT2/RS, 9974.0RS, GCTs, 918, all the 991/992 GT cars, they have all been great cars at the time. But I dont recall any single one of them that gives the combined combination of fun, and excitement to drive that the 992ST gives. Out of all the reviews I have seen the one from road and track sums up the ST very well.
