Real *** puckering manual is learning how to get off a red light the first few times one drives a CGT hoping not to fry it, and no one has complained about that box either, at least not anyone I’d like to be introduced to.
I severely dislike my stock CGT clutch operation on hills with someone behind me 😂. So there LOL.

I also dislike the fact that every time at a traffic light I always take off 1-2 secs slower than everyone else in my CGT due to the clutch

I like the fact that my 992 TTS pretty much rules the road, whenever it wants to. It's a rare car that comes along and can challenge it.

LOL, good memory!

I chickened out, so I'm going to drive my super lightweight clutch (Sport Classic) up to RR7. See you next week!

Folks I just checked it out… the curb weight of the S/T is lighter than a Lotus Emira (both drivetrains)… mind blown 🤯

3187-pound curb weight for the 2.0-liter car and 3212 pounds for the 3.5

I’ve seen Frank driving a GTS in America (during his IMSA days).

Not sure if this has been noted yet, but the power-to-weight ratio of the S/T is nearly on par with the Turbo S! The hp/kg figures are as follows:

992 Turbo: 0.159
992 Turbo S: 0.176
992 S/T: 0.172

This in combination with the short gear ratios should create quite the driving experience!

Unlike Europe and the rest of the world the US has different contracts and laws in place for the working relationships between the factory and sales arm. That balance is not always easy to navigate as the 200 dealerships combined have a lot of power. It is not as simple as Do this or Do that. In short PCNA really can't tell a dealership what to do or how to sell a car. They are limited in someways. What they are doing is the basic foundation that was written and signed off on a long time ago. They buy cars and resell them. Does it suck what is happening and has happened ! YES 100% If you and I signed a contract, invested large amounts of money and operated an independent dealership then suddenly we were told we had to make changes or we had to go back on an already executed contract we would lose your mind and Lawyer UP ! In short the market, supply and demand combined with an awesome product has caused this issue.

I wish everyone could get an ST or a GT car but it is just not reality. Over the next few weeks / month or so the program will be released that they have come up with for the ST. Some will smile as it at best is a small way to try to control the resale and flip ! However if we do have solid relationships with our dealers, our purchase history with PCNA etc etc is solid, all that will all be taken into account. I am not saying it's a direct sale from PCNA but it is as close to that as legally possible.

PCNA is not some kinda masked villain who only picks the famous or rich guys to get cars. The guys I have met that work directly for the brand don't all drive the new RS, they don't get any car they wish for. They are regular guys like you and I and trust me they all see what is happening.

When the info is given out to the public it will still not make us all happy as that's life. How ever it is the best that they can do with the cards that they hold.
Be Easy:

Any one hear more of a specific purchase program PCNA will require?

My local dealer indicated they received early info regarding a mandatory 1-year lease program via Porsche NA Leasing.

So require non-VIPs to lease the car for a minimum of 1 year and then have the option to purchase it? That would hamper flipping early on.

This comparison is at peak power, but the turbo cars have a meatier torque curve.

If anything, the S/T’s gearbox is more similar to the pdk (in a good way), as its lower ratios are more similar to the first 6 ratios in the pdk than the box in the GT3 is like the pdk.
