The RS is the better car, and was in 2016 too. Values not considered. Of course the badge aura/limited nature of the 911R has allowed it to hold values better. Those who have one, did ok. I hope they drive the cars...
Yeah I probably am a bit of a hater. I'm definitely poor.
Everything after the 997 generation is just kinda 'big' to me. "more". and "more". and "more".
Oddly, I'd rather just buy/improve more old cars. I find they are actually engaging. if you've never slid an old 911 with 300hp and 185 section tires... you should try it!
But I make zero judgement on how people spend their money, on value, or adm, or prices. That is for the market to decide. Pay up, I don't care. Congrats to the dealers, flippers, and brokers who are going to make a buck though!
I do find the 992 section hilarious and entertaining though. You guys should carry on, have at it!
Careful now, it's posts like that which will have you labeled by some on here as a hater because you aren't falling over yourself praising the car as the next holy grail 911. After all, if we aren't willing to pay the "market" price to get one, you must be a poor whiner who can't afford the car in the first place. ![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)

To be fair, he's also responsible for developing the cars we all lust after. He does both jobs very well.

A lot of you seem pretty sure of yourselves and your opinion of a car you’ve never driven nor even had a single review of.
It’s like sharing your thoughts and feelings on the sexual skills of the supermodel that you never met or saw **** of.
I nor anyone else has any idea if the complete package will be special to drive or not … but it’s pretty telling as to what’s driving your thoughts if they’ve already become this strong.

I think more like the germans finally realized where the sucked. and using wishbone has benefited them for sure vs mchpherson
I had steel *****. but being the last eunuch ..... serving dowager.... no ***** now... but do not misgender me... today I identify as ST
peechee now you will have ppl fail to coordinate clutch motion and shift motion kaboom... just watch
smf I see you like SMURF...
Looks like they did just enough to make it a very desirable collector/nostalgia/investment car. But that aside, it seems less interesting than RS (to me, don't mean to convince anyone). Weight savings are very small compared to RS with WP and PCCBs. Of course, some people think that SC is special, and this is WAY more interesting, so no doubt this car will be super hot.
Stephen will tell you how big my service bill was on the 980 last months...
I needed IV drip after that.
what color is your hahah
it aint pink.
he can't pull it off.
I may be the only one.
if he cant see the puddle he cant see the apex he doesnt deserve ST.
just get a Jennifer convertible and lie down at assisted living.
cars are for driving...
20k miles on RS4.0... had enough
The conversation with the suspension came up very early in the car’s development. When I asked AP about it his response was, if you want a car for the track buy an RS or even a wing GT3, the ST is not the car for you. But, the suspension has been completely revised to have a bigger delta between Sport and Track mode and faster rebound and compression. So softer for street, and stiffer for canyon driving.
So, it’s been released and now we know the communication colour and we know everything else. This is clearly more than the sum
of its parts and I am excited for it!!

now with only one eye... I just take my proschs to whole food buy grocery and Home Depot for manure... it's all good.
I called my bank.
loan approved whew
hahaha that's is an embarrassment not a watch.
that POS 997 shifter... I have ove 150k miles on 997gt chassis.... enough is enough.
my job is to CRITICIZE my staff and tell them what the F'd up.
if I were to do it myself... I would F up the same.
it's much better to TELL ppl to do stuff....
that to me is NOT development...
I have not ran any models or numbers for over 20 yeas.. hell I cant' even type now days.
but I am the BOSS.... my staff never tell me I misspelled anting, they jsut make it right....
but I do SELL to clients and DEVELOP waht they want

A+ take … the car that spawned not only the return of the manual transmission to the GT lineup and birthed the Touring was worse than the RS.

It’s amazing that the same cycle of anticipation then disappointment because of some minor perceived injustice followed by a loss of faith in AP accompanies every product cycle. inevitably that same perceived injustice becomes AP’s magic fairy dust with time.
