Yeah I probably am a bit of a hater. I'm definitely poor.
Everything after the 997 generation is just kinda 'big' to me. "more". and "more". and "more".
Oddly, I'd rather just buy/improve more old cars. I find they are actually engaging. if you've never slid an old 911 with 300hp and 185 section tires... you should try it!
But I make zero judgement on how people spend their money, on value, or adm, or prices. That is for the market to decide. Pay up, I don't care. Congrats to the dealers, flippers, and brokers who are going to make a buck though!

I do find the 992 section hilarious and entertaining though. You guys should carry on, have at it!

Meh, you only sold it because it has cup holders and a more storage space and bluetooth / carplay.

Yeah, we just happen to be poor working stiffs. I'm guilty of liking the new toys and my 997 is as about as antique as I'll go. Besides, it's nice to have the "auto save" nannies on when trying to set PB lap times going for the DE cup. I think me pushing one of your antiques on the track would scare the living hell out of me.

To be fair, he's also responsible for developing the cars we all lust after. He does both jobs very well.

If I ever were to meet him in person I would be thanking him because of all the fun that I've had tracking GT cars for the past 10+ years.

A+ take … the car that spawned not only the return of the manual transmission to the GT lineup and birthed the Touring was worse than the RS.

A lot of you seem pretty sure of yourselves and your opinion of a car you’ve never driven nor even had a single review of.

It’s like sharing your thoughts and feelings on the sexual skills of the supermodel that you never met or saw **** of.

I nor anyone else has any idea if the complete package will be special to drive or not … but it’s pretty telling as to what’s driving your thoughts if they’ve already become this strong.

The single mass flywheel is what makes this car. It was special in the 997.2 3RS, 911R and will be special in this car.

I dont think revelation is the right word.

precisely I sold all my 991 never missed a bit. 992 was a jump

So, it’s been released and now we know the communication colour and we know everything else. This is clearly more than the sum

everyone thinks cool on track. as u know I tracked50-70 days a year for 10 years.
now with only one eye... I just take my proschs to whole food buy grocery and Home Depot for manure... it's all good.

well, TELL ppl to develop is not the same as DEVELOP
my job is to CRITICIZE my staff and tell them what the F'd up.
if I were to do it myself... I would F up the same.
it's much better to TELL ppl to do stuff....
that to me is NOT development...
I have not ran any models or numbers for over 20 yeas.. hell I cant' even type now days.
but I am the BOSS.... my staff never tell me I misspelled anting, they jsut make it right....
but I do SELL to clients and DEVELOP waht they want

That cuts both ways and people who have diverging opinions is what makes the world go round otherwise we'd all be living in a big echo chamber. The reality is that some people will love the car no matter what and some people will be meh about it, such is life. We all have want factors and that determines what we'll be willing to pay for any of these fun Porsche cars. I think we all know that the car is/will be better than a run of the mill 992 Touring but it's just a question of each individual's perception how much better.

It’s amazing that the same cycle of anticipation then disappointment because of some minor perceived injustice followed by a loss of faith in AP accompanies every product cycle. inevitably that same perceived injustice becomes AP’s magic fairy dust with time.
