Delays due to PCCB

I asked someone at PCNA about the PCCB stop order...My Touring has PCCBs and is PTS locked at V215, and he said that since my order is locked, I most likely will not be affected. So for anyone who is PTS locked (V215) or recently locked (w/o PTS would be V210) and ordered PCCBs, you're probably fine. If you're near lock, you're probably fine, but that's where things get tricky:
He said that the stop order is only for new orders. I don't know whether to interpret that as new allocations that come in the next round or current, unlocked allocations that are at V200...I'm hoping only true "new" allocations will be affected, but I'm really hoping these weird production constraints go away altogether.
He mentioned that there could be the extremely unlikely scenario that PCNA has to change already ordered vehicles and remove PCCBs regardless...I don't think that'll happen, but in today's world, who knows!
In the screenshot above, it says order stop till 06.2022. I don't know whether to interpret that as a production month or an order input month. If it's an order input month, it seems the first MY23 GT3s may not have PCCBs either because the first of those orders will probably go in before 06.2022. If PCNA is saying that any production month after 06.2022 isn't affected, then those who'll get MY23s should be okay...I hope! I didn't ask as to why the order stop is happening in the first place, but I doubt he'd be able to tell me anyways.

Maybe they just realized the brake pad issue - thought that would be an easy campaign fix.

He said that a scenario where locked orders are affected is very unlikely...and I believe him. It could honestly be a mixture of supply and quality issues. I know some people trying to order Cayenne GTS's with PCCBs had to remove them for their orders to go through. I haven't heard of the brake dust issues with Cayenne PCCBs.

GT3 Production Dates Delayed
My car started production 1/18 according to TYD and was originally scheduled to be complete 10 days later or1/28. Last week TYD update shifted completion date to 2/18. Overall a 20 day delay for my car. No information on what caused the delay while continuing to say it is in production. Yes the car is equipped with PCCB's. I have assumed it could be any of a number of part/supply chain issues. Brakes or glass or chips whatever. I am sure Porsche does not want to pile up a stack of partially built cars. I think it is odd to start a build if there are parts missing. Maybe it is not in production or maybe the body is ready and waiting to go into assembly. who knows..... If they fix a problem technical issue great I am happy my car is catching the fix. I will know soon if the TYD info is reliable. will update when status changes.

Just talked with the dealer regarding two of my builds. He called his rep at Porsche Canada.
My 4RS is V215 due to PTS and the touring is V200 and locks next month.
The rep told him my builds should be ok as is, but avoid making any changes as that will bump the status to B150 and surely lose the brakes.
Wait and see what unfolds….

I got word yesterday that the PCCBs are on stop order, PDCC adds a 6 week delay, etc. The freeze point was pushed out by 3 weeks with no known delivery ETA.
Today, I changed the build to steel brakes and the dates pulled forward to 2/14 freeze and 5/13 delivery.
Am debating what many of you are - go with a confirmed schedule...or revert back to PCCBs and chance an unknown timeline.

FYI, my 4 GTS is lower down the hierarchy of course, but it is specced with PCCBs and at the V200 stage.

I have a GT3, yellow PCCBs, with a freeze date of 3/16 and a 5/27 delivery. Checked with my dealer today and I'm still on schedule. According to my SA the Order Stop applies to new orders from 2/3/22 through allocation month 6.22.

I have a GT3T ready to start production with PCCBs on 25 Feb - no delays reflected on TRD or from PCNA. Lots of delays are caused by lots of issues .... how many delays are firmly tied to PCCBs vice speculative without specific correlation to PCCB?

My order locks in a month, no issues! Fake news.

I'm wondering if they did catch some sort of issue with the compounds and pulling them but simply couldn't stop ordered cars because they'd be violating the purchase contract or something. Just a theory, but have a sneaking suspicion it's not a material shortage and even if it was I doubt that it would take nearly a year to churn out some more rotors, pads, and calipers. There are a couple of other threads with people talking about how much their new PCCB's dust, fade, etc and were actually putting 991.2 GT3 pads in to replace the stock new ones. They may have to come up with an all-new compound that complies with environmental laws but still performs up to expectation and not just as simple as them being able to use old pads. Who knows. I'm sure it'll get worked out though!
