I'm tempted to buy a set of pads from the dealer in hopes of getting the old composition versus the new stuff that creates the hated dust.

I installed a set of the .2s and just ordered a backup set.

My touring with pccb got delayed by ~1 month in the last week or two- now June production (originally March, pts and em also added delay)

I have a 992 turbo and the pccb are fantastic
compared to my spyder, they seem to handle cold temps much better and 0 squeal after 1000 miles.

My car was end of June (PTS Winged) mysteriously bumped to end of July. Wonder is it's PCCB related.

My end of July got bumped 2 weeks back. Black PCCB on my build - I suspect that’s why as well.

You also havent read the thread from the beginning. The issue is with cars that have not had their builds locked. Of course a car that was already in production will be fine as well as a car that has had its build locked.

Sure - read the whole thread through 🙂

Relevance is that if there was a quality or liability problem there would have been a stay on models in production- also the fact that mine were ordered in black raises the possibility thst there might just be a global shortage of yellow paint 😉 - another data point.

Anyway, relevant or not I guess there are folks that like looking at production pics

Production pics are just like baby pics - only one's own are interesting.

My build seems so weird. Received this from my dealer; for whatever reason it is sitting in “build” status for just about a month, with a start date of 1/21 and end date of 2/25. Yellow PCCB, LWBs and PDK if it matters.

According to TYD, my touring with PTS, EM, and PCCB/black locked (i.e. V215 to V250) today (Feb 8th). It was originally scheduled to lock on Jan 21st. So hopefully, any delays for folks will be short.

Info I received from PCNA directly today:

- Current orders aren't impacted
- New orders as of Feb 3rd are impacted
- If you remove PCCB from a current order you cannot put it back

As much as I would want to believe this, you may have been given wrong information. I say this because of my Cayenne GTS experience and how the factory pulls orders/locking process works. Until the moment your order is "locked", its options/packages arent guaranteed from an inventory perspective. So all bets are off till then. You may be lucky or you may be unlucky. Only after the order is locked, you are guaranteed to some extent (not 100%) that you are getting what's on the build sheet for that commission number.
