You cant move your build date beyond July as that is MY23 and MY23 commission numbers cant be issued yet.

Yes can order black calipers if don't like red ones
had both steel and pccbs,
Ceramics are equal breaking when they are in the right temperature
Otherwise in the cold or rainy weather better the steel, the Touring is, should be, an all round so this time i have chosen the steel brakes

on track no way to use the ceramics on the long time, are better the AP brakes and store the pccbs in the garage, getting ironically the dust

Thats really unfortunate to hear. My touring locked today actually with PCCB(currently), yet I’ve been concerned they may get bumped too.

If I lost the PCCB’s Id definitely still take the car. My 991.2 GT3 had steels without any issues, these new brakes are even bigger and I can’t imagine not being more then adequate, especially on the road. If you want more braking there’s always aftermarket options.

Still lame situation when paying that kind of money for the car and not getting what you want.

I will say almost all the Porsches I’ve ordered have been denied options from stitching colors, weissach package, LTS and on this particular car PTS….. I’m sure you’ll still love the car, after you get it you’ll just enjoy the masterpiece of engineering 👍

This would be a real dilemma for me OP, as I want the weight reduction of PCCB above all. Fingers crossed!

@Bubba Wibs my car locked 2/11 as well (was supposed to be 2/14) - when is your production showing? Mine is 7/01/22 currently with PCCBs - I've had an order accepted since 07/2021.

@JohnC4S I think the model years norms are being stretched these days.

My Spyder locked on 2-10 and I haven’t heard bad news yet. Fingers crossed. I’d probably cancel and buy CPO if no PCCB.

My GT3 with wing is scheduled for production and locks in 9 days and is ordered with PCCB’s in black calipers.

i was originally on the fence between PCCB and Irons. Not going to loose any sleep over which brakes they install as long as I get the car.

A healthy approach for sure.

Because sometimes you just want to see PCCB on the Moroney Sticker.

My PTS order locked yesterday. No word about PCCBs being deleted, but TYD shows them on the build.

Where can you see your build details on TYD??? I feel like I've seen it before on a previous car, but can't find it again. Curious about my PCCBs on my recent lock.
