Treynor, who has pretty much owned and tracked every high-performance car on the planet told me that the 992 GT3 was incrementally, yet significantly better than the previous 991 generation. And that there was no other sports car that could match the GT3's performance for the price.
Hearing that gave me a lot of confidence with my purchase.
He was spot-on.

Dodo nailed it is correct. Diablo, you mention Treynor and I can tell you I have personally owned just about every exotic from almost every brand except Lambo and the GT3 is a significant value compared to them all. Think of this, I built my first 458 almost 13 years ago. Lower mile 458s still command $200K+...roughly the same price as the GT3. the 458 is 4 iterations old for Ferrari. Move on to Mclaren, Maser, and others and there is nothing near the pound for pound price point to match it.

Just an FYI:
I received delivery of my 992 GT3 Touring in early January of this year.
I live in the San Francisco East Bay, and to this day have never seen "another" Touring in the wild.
In fact, I've only seen one other 992 GT3 (winged) car in my daily travels this year. With Luftgekuhlt 9 in my backyard in May, I attended and was shocked to not see a single Touring.
Mine was the only one.

Speaking of BBQ . . . good to see that our resident BBQ dealer is taking care of their valued customers on used Tourings with 1,097 miles.
The MSRP dealer.

I was told by someone very high up at Porsche yesterday and very much in the know…
”prices will fall off a cliff next year” Their exact words, not mine and speaking to GT/special Porsche 911’s (even ST) specifically
don’t shoot the messenger, the fact this person told me this surprised even myself…
Take that info as you want or think it’s blasphemy, don’t matter. I’ll enjoy my cars all next year no matter what they’re worth.
