You need to buy a Porsche Design men purse to carry your leather pouched key.

The side blades from Amazon are great and it seems crazy to buy "factory plastic" for a hundred times the price. I went with carbon fiber and chrome blades and love them.

I bought a leftover Cayman S a few years ago at a massive discount and it came with the leather pouch. As others have said, more trouble than it's worth unless you have E&D. Even then, I don't think I'd use it, as my keys haven't scratched at all and I toss them into a tray full of keys every night. I threw my key pouch away.

I agree with this. 911 dealer threw in 1 graphite blue painted key other is standard black, for the Cayenne (white over red/black) wife has a red leather case that stays in her handbag and I bought some white knockoffs from amazon for mine. All 4 keys visually distinctive and easy to know what car they go with.

Has anyone seen how many tenths these will shave of my C2s 0-60 time? Motortrend got it to 3.4 which I haven't been able to replicate without the pouch...

That number is only possible with the SPORT pouch. I think you have the base model.

Ah ha! Thank you.
I though you attached the key to the larger silver hoop.

well I am not sure that the loop is for this. I have the pouch and the key.

If if you attach it to the silver hoop, pulling the leather strip to clip in on the pouch actually pulls the key inside the pouch itself. That will not happen if you attach it to the string. It leaves the key half way out. Also might come out of the pouch half way in the bag.

still trying to figure out what the string is for
