I don't have my car yet but looking at the key, I'd be doing anything to minimize the size of it in my pocket rather than adding the bulk of a leather pouch. Maybe I need bigger pockets? I ordered my car with entry & drive - I wish the key was smaller.

Thanks for all the replies. I do have Entry & Drive (like a lot). Ordered from Suncoast.

I have ordered Entry and Drive on my upcoming car but I don't understand the painted key with pouch. You pay $500 extra (yeah right, it costs Porsche that much to paint the key) for a painted key that no one sees because it is in a pouch and never comes out because you have Entry & Drive. Just get the standard key and leave it in your pocket. Unless you want to show off at the bar which Porsche is yours, then I still don't understand.

Default I carry two keys in my pocket

Porsche key and Church key. With "Entry and Drive" feature, the only time the keys leave my pocket is at the bar. And yes, I am a sensible drinker/driver, no more than 2 beers when the keys are in my pocket.

It's only a 100 bucks from Suncoast.https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU991KEY.html. It takes 2 seconds to put it on.

Of course it's unnecessary, but so is half the stuff we order on these cars.

True, I am paying $860 for door sills in carbon fibre, $1620 for sport design mirrors with carbon fibre, and $2140 for seat backs in leather, but these options will make my car much faster.

Most practical option for keys, tell me more about this brewery, how's the beer?

So... basically the $100 dollar OEM part chips easily and is inferior to the $10 chinese junk, which will hold up through eternity.
I don't have the car yet, but I do have a pair of cheapo red sides from Amazon. They look great.

I got the eBay ones. They suck compared to the OEM.

Default Once I saw that the OP had made his decision...

I figured it was OK to go a bit off-topic.

Hardywood is an excellent craft brewery. We are very fortunate to have 4 to 5 excellent micros in the area. Hardywood makes several seasonal brews that I really like. Bourbon Cru is a quad aged in bourbon barrels and Gingerbread Stout comes straight up or bourbon barrel aged. These two are my favs.

This is what I've got at a fraction of the price. Can't tell the difference with the OEM.

You need Porsches - plural - in your stable. Then having colored keys will be a practical matter not total frivolity.

Porsche provides the options and waits to see what they can get away with.

Another recommendation for the Amazon sides and no key pouch.

They are easy to change and you can buy a lot of different colors to switch it up.

We also have a lot of excellent craft breweries here in Toronto, at last count 27. I was thinking about doing a "World's End" craft pub crawl over a weekend, but if I hit all of them it truly would be the Worlds End for me. With all the good beers available now I can't even stand regular Molson Pilsner anymore (unless it's a free one after a hockey game).
