Objectively, if you have a factory-painted key then you need a pouch of some sort or the paint will chip quickly. If you have the standard key or you get color-infused plastic key sides (from e-bay) then it's not necessary.

Otherwise, it's subjective. Whatever lifts your luggage...

I have it, I like it. If you have the keyless entry option it's a no brainer.

only issue I have is on the rare occasion I valet most of them don't know what to do with it because it completely covers all the buttons. I get it back either opened up or stretched.

I have it too. I like it, as I have Porsche Entry and Drive.

I think it looks nice and it keeps the key from getting scratched and damaged as mentioned above.

.
Tell me more about the color infused plastic key sides. I purchased the guards red key sides from suncoast, which are supposedly OEM, but yes they do chip easily.

I don't want to get the pouch, because thats even more bulk on my keychain, but if there is a more durable plastic key sides out there, I would be very intererested in that.

Pouch only good with entry/drive where you don't need to take the key out.

Recommended. Overpriced but recommended.

Then I went ahead and bought Chinese knock offs for the SB blades and the leather pouch to use on my DK (Dailey Key)

I still may buy it even though my car isn't entry and drive, its a good place to store it when its in my pocket with other keys and coins and stuff. unless anyone else has other suggestions?

I got the GT Silvers almost 2 years ago for my "main" drivers key, and left my spare key black. The Silvers look exactly as they did when new.

Is it designed for the ones with Entry & Drive option, otherwise, I find it quite inconvenient to use.

My wife got the key and pouch as a surprise.

I must admit that I like the lava orange stitching and the lava orange wings.
