Do people hate Yellow 911s?

I never preferred Yellow. Always silver or black historically. The car was set up before I purchased it and the history and value overcame the color. It's not an easy color but sometimes it fine. Sometimes really nice- sometimes too much- Police like the color. When I wear my NNJR yellow Instructor jacket, and HOD Yellow instructor shirt it's more than I can handle- jez

Some say bugs like yellow best.
Last year we drove to a Porsche event in Wisconsin--and, of course, the first activity nearly everyone participated in was bug removal. I struck up a conversation with a guy cleaning a beautiful yellow 911. He said that he and a buddy drove up at the same time, but his yellow car had collected many more bugs than his buddy's non-yellow car. He was convinced that yellow attracts more bugs. I don't know if that is true, Wisconsin at that time of year has lots of bugs, but some people were convinced.

Not a huge yellow fan, but Signal Yellow is great IMO. That's probably the one yellow I could own.

I assume you shopped around a bit and I wonder if you were able to compare like/like options etc and noticed a price difference between yellow and anything else?

I've lived with at least one yellow car at home, all my life. My father's 66 Karmann-Ghia which we still have is yellow. Even his MG in college was yellow. Yellow is one of the colours I was considering when I ordered a c2s recently. The reason I didn't pick yellow is because nearly every Porsche or ferrari here are yellow, silver, black or red.
