There's a low mileage standard tranny yellow c4s on ebay right now out of florida. However, you won't get a c4s in the 70's.

Like others have commented, I like the color but don't want it for my car. Personally, I do not like gray but my wife drives a SL63 in gray. Color is a very subjective thing and Yellow is not for everyone but neither is Guards Red.

Yellow is the one color among the non- PTS cookies that gives my hearts twinge of jealousy. I own Guards Red.
The yellow wrap idea is a good option. There's an F-chatter with a black Cali with yellow wrap. It looks great. I assume you could do likewise with a 911...T

Was thinking about yellow purely for the high visibility safety aspect but ended up settling on rhodium silver to call less attention to the car. Am thrilled to have a 911 on the way but don't want to have a color that is shouting "Look at me in my 911!!!!!"

No one ever told me they didn't like my SY 997.1. The only comment that was less then kind was, "Ya' got a hotdog to go with that mustard". But, as others have said, people liked the color, they just wouldn't own one. Insofar as resale, factor in what you pay for it by how much you'll have to discount on the sale. When I sold my SY 911 it was under lease and I had to get out early to buy my 997.2 GTS. I wasn't concerned with profit, just breaking even on the deal. I bought out the lease and sold it for that price, which was several thousand below market. Within five days I had seven or eight offers. So, the market is there, you just have to be realistic about the price you ask.
