A like-new stiff carpet also didn’t like getting bent enough to make it around and over those seatback metal lock pins that stick out laterally on each side. So, if your car is pristine and intact since assembly long ago, be prepared.
Oh, the first time you try and undo the slide locks to install the DSC controller you think you're going to break something - either your fingers or the slide locks, or your sanity. I remember struggling with them the first time, and then the 2nd and 3rd time were so much easier.

Yep, as with most things, the first attempt is the hardest, then you learn the tricks to make the task seem easy, and you wonder why you struggled so much the first time.

It wasn't an issue for me. I had a small flat head screw driver to persuade the lock pins. Was done in 10 minutes

Turned off tear drop (I'm not a fan of that feature), turned off upshift arrow when driving in normal mode, changed the 3 signals flashes for lane changing to 5, enabled window up and down with the key fob.

What did you buy? I did the opposite ... I bought a 993 in OR and drove it back to AZ. That was about 20'ish yrs ago; I remember showing it to a friend at Easter brunch. If you have the time, take the Pacific Coast Hwy. Many on this board live around it and can give further advice. Post some pics of car - enjoy the drive!

Totally agree. I got one for my C2S as well, and they've agreed to create one just for my wife's Civic Type R, but they need a group buy for that to make it work, so I'm hoping everyone can sign up for it. Can't wait!
