Default Soul exhaust

Found a great deal today and placed the order for my 2012 C2S - just the valved system, no headers.

Already programmed my auto start/stop button to control the exhaust valves (via ThinkDiag).

I’ll be doing the installation myself.

Any tips, tricks or advice prior to installing?

I’ve watched a bunch of videos and have installed exhaust systems on other vehicles. I have a 4 post lift.

I plan on removing the bumper cover unless you think it’s not necessary.

Its actually very straight forward. I installed mine on the ground with the rear bumper removed and the crash bar.
With mine, on the driver side specificly, i had to shave a little bit of the front exhaust hanger that mounts to the flange off the cat. No modification to the right side.
Im not sure what kind of existing exhaust nuts you havet, but mine were a different flanged style that did not work, so i ordered the correct nuts (900 910 003 03 ) (using supplied nuts, but will come loose because theyre ment to be used when replacing the cat/hardware)
Lastly, Because we have 2 seperate hoses for the valves, you are going to want to plug one side, and extend the other (i used the driver side + a T tap from each valve, into the one on the car.)

I should have taken photos :/ Message me if you have anymore questions. Hope that was easy to understand lol

Took 2 to 2.5 hr but that includes painting the chrome trim ring. So I had to take the wheel apart completely. If you are just changing paddles, you only remove the wheel and remove the back trim piece to access the paddles. So I would say an hour more of less. Much more feel when you pull the paddle. Makes small click and the paddle length is better than the small stock or the GT4RS paddles I had .on prior to this

I decided to get an old set of carrera sport wheels I had painted. Originally I bought them as an extra set for Summer tires but after I went with all-seasons they just sat in the basement. Plus I hated the dull gray monotone matte finish. Interesting how much better the two tone gloss gray carrera sports look. I think these gloss black ones look even sharper and will give me an excuse to swap them out. 😉

I wanted to bump this as i have a couple months on the pads. Just yesterday, i switched the front pads to the Hawk HPS5.0. I kept cooking the front brembo pads (glazing them) and it created a weird ticking noise. I guess i drive the car too hard for them. The brembo rears are fine and the rotors themselves are great. But the front pads couldnt handle a very spirited canyon run

I heard the Dayton tweeters are comparable to what Musaicar Northwest uses? Did you do any research on that before buying the Dayton tweeters.

Looks great! Just gave me the idea to doing the same but in the Porsche strip on the sides, wonder how that would look. keeping things subtle.
Love the sport design spoiler too by the way 👍🏻
