Purchased the Porsche OEM roof racks and 1up bike carrier from fellow rennlist member @swamp2. I can now carry my MTB and snowboard to the mountains. The car looks hilarious with the bike on it.

The DSC Sport suspension controller is one of the best things you can do to a PASM-equipped car. It's an easy install, especially in a coupe, and only a little more complicated in a cabriolet. However, there's a great video (starring my 991.1 TTS) on the DSC website for how to install it in a cab.

That looks great! Is it hard to mount the bike? How does it feel driving with it on top?
Glad to hear it since mine is arriving early next week. Hope it's worth the money

The Porsche accessories are really well made. Not too tricky to mount the bike. Makes it easier that my car is lowered.
Have only done a few miles so far, but bike is firmly secured if you follow the instructions. Planning to do a 330 mile drive with the bike on the car!

DSC controller installation
I just did this in my 2017 991.2 C2S and it was harder than those videos promised. I suspect that the rear carpet behind the seat backs had never been touched since it left the factory, and it did not like being lifted from its comfy position all tucked in at each end. A like-new stiff carpet also didn’t like getting bent enough to make it around and over those seatback metal lock pins that stick out laterally on each side. I eventually wrestled the damn thing up and over, getting access to the PASM controller nook and installing the DSC, but those slide locks on the cable connectors also hadn’t been moved since 2017 and needed some persuasion to unlock. So, if your car is pristine and intact since assembly long ago, be prepared.
