I have the reverse - black on black with the GTS roll bar. I’ve been considering swapping the black logo for silver. How did you do it? Was it hard?

Did you remove the logo to paint it? Does it just "snap" off?

There are two cables that feed the tray, They were easily tucked down in the space below the console. No tools necessary to do the swap. Though a small point pick tool/awl does help left the flap from the console, and to loosen the tabs in the cable connectors.
wait so this lowers the little shelf giving you more space? That would be great. I might try to fit a flat wireless charger in there for my phone.

i reeaaally want to do this but my porsche purist heart is conflicted. How hard is it to install? Could you swap it back to stock or is it a permanent change?

Installed a Sharkwerks exhaust on my 991.2 and sounds fantastic! So far so good! I have a long highway drive this weekend, so excited to see how the new exhaust sounds along the way.

Next up may be some new sport cats and/or upgraded turbos 😁.

You’ll like it, i put mine on last summer. But if you want more sound like i did, your best bet is to go cat bypass pipes with a tune for the cost of what sport cats are going for.

Hadn't considered the bypass pipes, but thanks for the tip. That would leave more budget for turbos. Not convinced about tunes yet since it's already plenty for my driving, but more sound would be good.

it bolts on/off, couple of hours, even for a caveman. Just do it, but keep in mind ordering has been difficult because the company has had some issues lately (I think perhaps the owner passed away, and the new family/management has had transition issues, but I may be mistaken so don’t quote me, also maybe they’ve sorted it out). However, if you do find some stock, if you don’t like it you can sell easily on the classifieds here for not much loss because it’s a desirable mod/part that fits a lot of years.

Yes, it adds about 3/4" of depth. Look at the ledge at the rear, at the armrest USB socket, that's the depth you'd get overall.

There's a coax cable that just drops down into the space under the console. There's also a power connection that has more wiring and that was a little trickier to stuff into the same space. I used the tip of a plastic pen to help ease the cable down into the space. I could retrieve both of the and reconnect the original pad if necessary.

This is about the last mod I’m planning for my 991.2 Carrera T.

Did you do Numeric cables as well?

Night & day difference from OEM?

+1. It's not difficult. They have a video on their website or just Google Numeric Installation and there are videos on step by step how to remove the trim panels and get to it. If you're concerned it will alter the 'purist' configuration don't be - the aesthetics are minor (shorter shift lever) and the improvement is the actual feel of shifting which is much better than stock. My biggest hesitation was taking off the panels, for some reason I'm always apprehensive about that but the videos show how to do it and once you've done it you'll realize it wasn't a big deal. Good luck!

Best upgrade I've made to date. Night and day difference. Well worth it. Makes me wonder why it doesn't come this way from the factory.

My only gripe is that the mechanism gets covered up. It is a piece of art!

Would you recommend getting the Numeric cables at the same time as the shifter?
