Ready to get the gt3 brake swap with 380/380mm rotors on next week!
also picking up my gt3 bumpers and techart wing II from the body shop.
Doing a gt3 front and custom ti exhaust for the gt3 rear for my 991.2 c2. Ran out of bolt ons to buy so im doing the body this year. Tho i may lean towards just keeping the pse rear bumper instead for ease.
Will check back when progress is made. Any insight on the brakes and bumpers will help. I know the front i need to order a bunch if gt3 front bumper internals and brakes from what i see are plug and play. Maybe a custom caliper spacer but havent gotten that far yet.

Have you looked at this? I think it outlined everything for the most part...sweet swap, but $$$.

I think forged wheel are really surpass multi-piece wheel choice in the past 5 years. Mainly, brands have advanced their manufacture process. I’m also looking to put a set as well.
may I know your fitment choices? 19s or?

if that has some gain, I think they will have another customer! Me!
I think just the prototype was the 3D-printed metal, but all the production ones are 3D-printed plastic. I got these used off at Cayman.
I will make a post once I get the back of the car off, hope to start next week, ordering new gaskets today. I am going to follow the video on YT of the 991.1 IPD plenum install. I feel like if I can get the center out, getting the two lowers off shouldn't be THAT bad.

I’ve been looking at the GT3 380mm brakes and wondering what is needed for the GT3 calipers to bolt onto my car and if the rotors work too. A 380mm brake set from Essex/AP Racing runs about $10k, and while there are advantages to the AP caliper, it would be cool to have the GT3 setup because you can get OEM rotors with lifetime warranty from FCP Euro. GT3 rotors are around $2400 for a set, but the only place I’ve found to buy calipers are used ones on eBay or from salvage wholesalers that take them from wrecked cars. As far as I can tell the red and yellow calipers seem to be the same caliper, just different color to signify if steel or carbon brakes, Do the calipers require a special spacer to fit, and if so, do I have to machine one out myself or are there shops out there that already make them? So many questions … for now I just ordered stock replacement rotors while I’ll spend some time figuring out what to do for a serious upgrade.

I loved and miss my GTS but you take it to a whole new level 😊
Bought mine a companion, haha. Seriously though, one has to go. See the listing in Marketplace.
