Bought mine a companion, haha. Seriously though, one has to go. See the listing in Marketplace.

Congrats on the new car.

Funny how darker colors make the same exact car look smaller. When I sold my white .1 GTS and replaced it with Agate grey, entire family thought I got a smaller non GTS version, wife asked me to make sure it was wide body lol

What's the difference between them? Is one a manual? Or just really wanted to change colors?

I just added a video to my fledgling channel, "At the Wheels," where I mention the 5 things I've done since I got my GTS. It's dumb, my car needs a vacuum, (and certainly a detail), and there are better things to do for 10 minutes than watch it, but it pays a nice homage to my mom who recently passed away.

That dark grey was the third vehicle in a row we've had in that color so that and I really wanted CL's and seat memory. I wish the new one had 18 ways, PCCB's and PDCC but guess that can be for the next one. As for MT, meh, I've had a lifetime of MT. Love PDK.

Bought a new set of Michelin PS4S tires in January and finally had them installed yesterday. Since bringing the car home in October I've done the following:
-new front spoiler lip
-full front/rocker/rear spoiler PPF
-Michelin PS4S tires
-new floor mats (carpet version, supplied by dealer as car came only with all weather mats)

Currently waiting for:
-Porsche toolkit (backorder)
-Alcantara steering wheel, shift ****/boot, and center console lid.

Hey, thanks so much! Yeah, I like to keep it light, fun, odd lol...there will be a range of car and features, biz showcases, reviews, and lots of car event coverage as I get going but life's too short to be serious all the time. Thanks again!!

5 Things I've Done To My GTS!
I love the tribute you paid to your mom. Although my mom was not a car person like yours she encouraged me as a 15 year old self taught “mechanic “ rebuilding my 57 Chevy even though her oven often smelled of baking paint on engine parts and as she rushed to open windows to avoid an explosion when I was using carburetor cleaner too close to the furnace. She also allowed me as a 16 year old to talk my dad into buying a 69 Chevelle SS396 as a family car to replace his Oldsmobile. And calming down the neighbors at 1:00 in the morning when I was adjusting the carb on my 427 with open headers. Unfortunately I lost my mom twice, once to Alzheimer’s and then to her passing but your tribute stirred up memories of my mom that I have not thought about in decades. Sorry for your loss she sounded like a very special lady.

Oh wow, isn't it amazing how some of these early moments in our relationships with parents/elders can have such a profound effect on on our later lives. So sorry to hear about the Alzheimer's, as my grandmother (mom's mom) had it, and lived with us for a while in the 90's. Such a devastating and awful disease. My mother was so worried about getting it herself, so I guess the only "positive" one might note about her recent peaceful passing is that she never ended up suffering with that affliction.

Thank you, and be well

Exactly, my mom’s encouragement and patience with my car hobby that allowed me to earn enough running my own garage in high school and college, that specialized in muscle cars and British and German sports cars, that I could pay for my degree in Architecture from Ohio State. Fifty five years later I can’t recall paying for a car repair but will only let someone else touch my car if it’s warranty work. My parents grew up in the depression and raised me to never pay any one for something you can do yourself. I miss them both and greatly appreciate the life lessons and values they gave me. My mom’s father also had Alzheimer’s and i worry every time I can’t find the car keys if I’m next. Sorry to get off topic but have patience with an old guy and his memories.😀
Jim
