Blacked out the DRL's. Full headlight restoration, they were crazed badly. Added some CF headlight trim to finish off the look. They didn't come out perfect, but they are much less noticeable. Think if I took another pass at them they would be perfect but still on the fence if I want to do the 991.2 headlight upgrade.

I would not recommend headlight film on any 991. I believe dealerships even received a memo back in the day not to apply PPF to the headlights. They have a thick sealant coating almost like clear coat on them, thats what hazes. PPF or any film on them apparently speeds up the degradation of that sealant.

I’ve heard it wasn’t recommended. Didn’t realize there was a warning about it at dealership.
im planning on a 1000 mile road trip next summer - maybe I can go with old fashion masking tape?
I wish they had those old school headlamp covers that snapped in and floated over the lens w/o touching it. Good old body wide gaps.

+1 | PPF the headlights, I too have done it. Don't listen to PAG.

Rennlight replacement and blacked out interior is definitely my next mod!
Also, I just had old PPF removed and replaced and my installer wouldn't do the headlights unless he sanded thst UV coating off first. He said it's really hard to get the film to stick. I can see my coating is already degrading, but no microcracks yet.

Three Wheelin'
Ebony and gray stained maple shift **** by Manuel (porsche356sport@yahoo.com). Weighs 162g, exactly double the stock weight. At the lowest mount point it is ever so slightly taller, maybe 1/4”, which works fine with the shorter GT4 shifter length, and the extra heft makes shifts nice and smooth. I really like the feel of the new shifter, as the stock plastic shift **** had a tendency to creak and overall felt kind of cheap.
