Frunk liner and tow straps front/rear for the upcoming trackdays. Barber and Road Atlanta planned out for October and November.

Track wheels getting picked up this Saturday from a fellow RL'er

Got my DSC V3 in today and after a brief ride around the neighborhood it really does transform the car. Minimal harshness in Normal, perfect balance in Sport and I didn't even mind being in Sport Chassis mode on decent streets. It feels the way I expected/wanted my first 911 to ride.

Default GT3 Mirrors

I upgraded to sport design mirrors bought at Sun Coast. Total cost was a little less the 1.5K with paint and install. One note is these come in about 10 pieces each and need assembly. There are also extra parts in the kit so it can be confusing.

Porsche wanted $1200+ for the dash trim painted and 5-7 mo... I got $40 of paint and clear, minor disassembly... Good enough. 98%.

Talking

My little Baby (2013 991.1 Carrera S) got a Center Radiator ordered for her from Suncoast....also ordered the center grill guard from The Grill Store. My local Independent is installing it for 3 hours labor. Also just had the front clip and rocker panels and mirror backs covered in XPEL and the car ceramic coated. Next "pre3sent"? It has to be the DSC V3 controller....and a set of OMP tow straps.

I'll post pics of the car with center radiator and XPEL when I get the car back next week.

Keeps things cooler if you are tracking or really pushing your car hard in hot weather. Does not really add value unless you are hitting high temps.

Theoretically, go on the track and run 20ish degrees less temps, when pushed hard.

Not just when pushed hard, basically anytime if you're not cruising in super chill mode. Sometimes I have wished for a center radiator button separate from the sport button, because it's good to run higher temps as long as not too high. Or so I've been told. When driven "not too hard" on a 991.1 it's the difference in 225 to 205 if Sport is on or off. (which turns the 3rd radiator on) By "not hard" I mean just normal spirited driving between 3000-5000.

You’d see those same differences between Normal and Sport even without the 3rd radiator.

Default Center Radiator?

Drive a track in hot weather, you'll generate some hot fluid temps....if an investment under $1,000 provides peace of mind, do it....at Willow Springs June 2021, 90 + degrees, and super windy. I didn't have a center radiator, Wujohn did...his car ran cooler than mine..I became envious...hence the center radiator, so COOL!

Default Time for new clear corners!!!

Yesterday a perfect manual Carrera S 991.1 in manual with nothing left to do!!

Today a Turbo S to start the projects all over again!

My 7 year old bet me to see if mommy even notices the difference between the two!!!

Did any other rennlisters cringe when they put together that the wife wasn’t included in the decision to get a turbo s and think about how much trouble they would be in or was that just me?
PS awesome new ride, keep us posted if she notices.
