You have to buy a new core steering wheel (they source, which is OEM) - when you return your original core, you get money back (or you can opt to keep both - but then runs way too much $). The drawback with their model is you give up your original wheel - which could be an issue for some. I figure you build the car for yourself - not the next owner.

Noticeably thicker, more pronounced flat bottom, overall well made, love the Alcantara and the paddles are an improvement over those thumb shifters on the MF wheel.
looks good. $3500 is insane

Leather steering column with deviated stitching from Exclusive Option. The quality of workmanship is outstanding.

I wish more would order the HRE P107's for their 911's over some of the more common models (P101). It looks absolutely spectacular and nice touch with the billet center cap! Reminded me of this Turbo we did a few years back:

from my universe, motorcycle ride, even just one pound reduced the inertia rotational weight, made it quicker to turn, and stopping in a shorter distance. Mostly, I felt these performance gain on track. on the regular road surface, I'm not as appreciating this affects.

there are also lots of positive things to be said about un-sprung weight reduction, which effects to wear and tear in car's components and suspension loads. lots to read on those....
