Is the hole big enough in diameter to accommodate a water bottle with a hugger or foam koozy?
You can bend it to make it larger or smaller as needed...but certainly big enough for a water bottle with a hugger.....foam koozy would depend on the thickness of the koozy, but again, you could "make it fit" very easily.
Love the AWE foilers. Wind buffeting is gone. Easy to do on later 991.1s. I've read its not so easy on the earlier ones where inside door trim must be removed...
They work extremely well. From 50mph to track speeds.
I did not want to modify the car, here is what I am using: Trico Onyx 20" wiper blade, #26-200. The airfoil shaped blade is the perfect length, and grips the leading edge of the car's stock trim piece. 5 second install or remove, by sliding it on or off.
This mod is great and truly makes the car more enjoyable. The headers may add like 5 hp but it's not 30 and not enough to matter performance wise.
So u think that adding high flow cats and high flow side mufflers and delete center muffler and replace with x pipe(plus saving weight) only adds 5 hp and does not add to performance??

Here is what I do to prevent wind buffeting. Keep the windows up and put the top down...

How do u like AWE window foils? Work well? I thought my head would explode driving my 991.1 4S with windows down!!
If you drive with the windows down, you need these or equivalent. I have the Blackmills ones, but the AWE versions look more like they were original equipment.
As long as u dont have an early production vehicle and have to go to step 5 of AWE directions. Those look a little more involved!
I do and I did...
The only issue is being a little intimidated by taking that much apart, but the instructions are great and if you are reasonably mechanically skilled...no big deal.
