Default Mediterranean Highway tracking

If the marinetraffic.com tracker ETA is reasonably accurate, it will be in San Diego in the late evening of May 24th. I have been waiting for the Mediterranean Highway to show up on the vessel schedule for the Port of San Diego. It is not shown yet - http://www.sdmis.org/index.html Once it appears on this document, the time and date are pretty accurate. I have been watching recently and car carriers arriving early will anchor outside the port until their scheduled time. Of course none of this guarantees anything, but it is fun to watch.

my car finally made it here, pick up next week, a bit concerned re: ground clearance with SPASM, but i wasn't willing to wait for a new order to spec this out, settled on what was already coming in.

I was worried too-but SPASM is a must have. Very comfortable, you have to be careful on steep driveways or speed bumps, but you'll be fine. The stance and handling with SPASM is transformative - you made the right call!

agree re: stance and handling, its the ground clearance that will be a pain in the ar... this being my DD i use a lot of underground parking stations, so think steep driveways etc...

anyway, have driven the 991.2 extensively in C2s/ C4s configurations, it is a much more fitting DD

+100 - you're going to love it.

Since getting mine a few weeks ago I've been thinking about parking my DD and just driving the 911.

My C2S was scheduled to come in June 10 and it arrived May 6th and I picked it up May 11. Well ahead of schedule considering I had a lot of Porsche Exclusive options added to my build.

My lock date was 4/8, and the car was scheduled to arrive at the dealer on 6/24. It's now at the port in Davisville, and I'm hoping to get it at the end of this week or early next week. Looks like the cars are 3 weeks to a month ahead of schedule.

Thanks, I just spoke to my SA and was informed of a 8/5 delivery. It would be a nice surprise to get the car early July. We will see......

I just placed a deposit for a September-ish delivery of a Carrera S over the weekend - looks like I'm part of this crowd!

Lol good one!

My 996 order is now locked and loaded. Code below.

Guess I'll have to make do with a crappy twin turbo

So what are you saying? LOL.

Nice build! I think my favorite part on your car and mine is the Porsche crests. That subtle touch gets the most comments on the interior. Cheers

i put my deposit down 3rd week of May and am supposedly going to be accepting delivery by the end of July. My order locked two days after putting in the deposit.

Now the cost:value wars begin in my mind about rim/tire insurance and clear bra (front only vs whole car).

Out of curiosity, for those that are/have gotten an earlier delivery, was the build date moved up or was the actual transport faster than originally estimated?
