My Carrera left Port Houston today! My salesman told me today, 24 to 68 hours! More like 48 hours. Saturday May 7th maybe the day! Thats 20 days ahead of schedule. I am extremely impressed at the logistical efficiency of the entire process. This car began production on 4/06 and is now ,May 5th, on its final route to the dealership.WOW!

I'm curious as the Bordeaux is darker as you state, will the Bordeaux/ black interior on a GT silver car clash or go with a red targa top? I have yet to see both in the flesh.

I'm getting a GT Silver Cab with red top and Bordeaux/Black interior. I was concerned about the two reds, as well. However, after seeing the below car in the showroom, I thought they went together about perfectly. The red targa top will look great with that interior.

Thanks! Looks great in that combo.

I have a Targa on order but my build date isn't until June 17. What was your original build and ETA. I am hoping mine gets done sooner as well.

My care came in late last night. Needs a good wash. The stitching is Pebble Gray. Not sure why some photos are sideways. SMH

Default process

The ship my Targa is on was scheduled to dock in Houston 5/14 but according to marinetraffic.com, its ETA is now 5/11 am. I can't begin to imagine the logistics of this process, but my dealer tells me on average to expect delivery 7-10 days later. The wait is getting brutal.

Nice looking targa.

Did Porsche move up your build date and if so by how many days?

Maybe Targa build dates are more on track, but my CS was completed ~2 weeks ahead of 1st est. Makes no difference in effect as my ED date was late May, so 'he's' been sitting around waiting for 'adoption' for nigh on 7 weeks by the time I get to Zuffenhausen.

Yes, sweet Targa: really like those CS wheels w/ the silver

Wow! You went all-out on stitching. Very tasteful. I now realize I didn't choose sufficient stitching (just doors, dash, seats)

Thanks. I think it completed production about 1 week ahead of schedule.

Thanks. I wish I got the door sills done in leather too but oh well. Here's a couple more shots in brighter light. I will get better quality shots once I get in the car.
