Hmmm. Green Cove now listed as heading to Long Beach instead of San Diego. Oh well, I don't understand all this ship stuff. Bottom line, eventually dealer will call with news that my car has arrived.

Wow, that paint, from the photo, looks better than a factory Ferrari's paint job (no arguments please; open another thread if you need too). In the 80's and early 90's Ferrari would have issues with their paint that some owner's would respray their cars and hand polish it before the clear coat. That is with House of Color paint... and the paint job cost more than the Testarossa at MSRP. Wonder if that article is floating around the internet somewhere?
Would love to see that Blue Color under natural sun light and corrected lenses. A real big fat a$$ lense to suck in all the colors and nuances.
Does that Blue 991 have the Glass roof?
All you need is a diaper to dust that car in the morning unless you keep it under a car cover. Sorry, Ferris Bueller's Day Off plug.

Almost home! Clear-Bra(bumber, full hood, fenders, side mirrors and headlight) being applied today and hopefully delivered to me by early morning tomorrow.
Couldn't help but notice the missing colored porsche crest for the wheels, dealer mentioned it is normally taken-off during shipping and put back at dealership.
Is that y'all experience as well? No concern just wondering....
Next mods:
1. Install side clear markers
2. Black ceramic coating on exhaust tips
3. Change headlight washer cover to black cover(Bumperplugs).
4. Install Hood Protector and Front Trunk Liner from suncoast
4. Opti-coat on the wheels.

I'm not a fan of the .2 exterior updates except in a few colors/wheel combos. This one really works.

That is just a killer, classic look. I almost went that way with my .1 and just might if I ever buy a .2.
I think it looks especially good on the wide body.

Atleast The LBC is a couple hourse plus some North of San Diego... So when it finally passes inspection the car will get to Seattle just that much sooner. This the part when you start ripping the hair out of your head and start exclaiming in a Nancy Kerrigan manner WHY your car hasn't arrived yet. Just hope some Ferrari Nut doesn't try to take your knee's out with a Shellalagh.

My car is on the California Highway chugging toward Davisville, RI. ETA is 5/20, so I'm hoping to have my car by the end of the month. Maybe Porsche can slap a couple of turbocharges on the boat engine and get it to move faster.

In my experience, car carriers heading to the Port of San Diego have stopped at Long Beach, Los Angeles and Port Hueneme before reaching the Port of San Diego. Not always true, but seems to be the case each time I have been anxiously awaiting my car to arrive. The Green Cove is currently just south of the tip of Baja California. The ETA to the Port of San Diego is May 17th.
