I am "taking delivery" of my C2S this afternoon. Only hiccup is the... snow storm. I guess we'll do the paperwork/talking and I'll have to leave her there..! Postponing is just not an option.

To add to the excitement, I got a notification this morning on my mobile saying "Porsche Car Connect is now active!" (I had registered for PCC yesterday and sent them my installation code). I could see that ignition was ON and frunk and driver's door were open

Car Connect iPhone app screen shots in its current state:

Yes, it's a global app. Typically manufacturers don't bother offering connectivity services in Canada but Porsche did. I plan to subscribe to the Porsche Vehicle Tracking Services as well. This should also come with over-the-air PCM software updates, which is nice.

I assumed that it would be included only for a few months but maybe you are right. Pricing details are on the bottom of this page https://pcc.cobratelematics.com but nothing about the trial period.

Nice! Just officially picked mine up this morning and had a nice 30 mile ride in it to take to the shop for film. Rainy and cold here but loved it!

Have not setup any of those things yet as I didn't want to pair my phone and copy material to the car yet.

yes of course, nothing is free... I should have said it is included with the purchase of a BMW, which on average costs half of what a Porsche costs... anyways... :-)

I agree. You make a very good point.

Edit: Porsche and "included" are rarely in the same sentence. A very ala carte car company.
