Just sold my 997.1 and ordered a 991.2 S. Should arrive in June. Decided to get PDK/Sport Chrono versus the 7 speed...hope that was a good decision. Also chose the Graphite Blue as a leap of faith, as I haven't seen it yet in person.
Going to hang out here and learn about all the new stuff in the PCM, etc.
Graphite Blue is not a color for everyone. You really have to go see it in person. And you have to see it in a variety of lighting situations.... just a strong suggestion... ultimately, color choice is very subjective and personal, but after having seen it in person, in my opinion, this is one color YOU need to be completely certain about... just my two cents... :-)
I agree totally with the previous poster. I saw it in person a few weeks ago at different times with different lighting over the course of an hour. I've never seen a color that varied so much. At times, it looked pretty aggressive. At others, it was plain. Part of me still wishes that I had ordered it.
Norsk, you can't go wrong, for what the 991.1 was (great car!) 991.2 is better, drove it with dealer Saturday again, I'm a manual person, car was PDK, but mate it was neck breaking fast, the torque is mental, it puts you right into the seat. You will love it, the sport exhaust was on sport, not sport plus (which is a more refined setting) And you can hear the car come alive, specially the back pressure gargling. Having said aftermarket there are so many better systems for any gen Porsche. Mine set to arrive May
I test drove a GB C4S. Really nice color. Looked different at the NY Auto Show (indoor light) vs. being out in bright sunshine. loved both looks though. Good luck!
They were posted by Porsche Centre Vancouver back in November but I don't recall seeing them being shared here. The "Good to Know" iOS app doesn't provide access to 2017 videos/manuals yet (except for the Turbo). That's the only source I've found.
Thought that 45 minutes of 991.2 **** (non HD though) would be interesting for those waiting or new owners

Looking to by a C4S, first time ordering a Porsche. Question about how allocation works. If I wanted to put in an order this week, what would be the soonest my car would be produced and delivered? Just trying to figure out what the first production slots are so I can find a dealer that has one, rather than just going with the dealer nearest to me, and getting an allocation with a later production date due to my ignorance.
BTW, great thread, you guys pushed me over the edge to get a 991.2!
you need to shop around, but for reference two weeks ago I was quoted a three month turnaround (from order to your driveway). Maybe someone who placed an order very recently can chime in...
Picked my first Porsche - 991.2 2017 C2S Sports Package, Front Axle Lift, Premium Package, Glass Sunroof, Red Seat Belts and few other bits. Side Front View Front Side View - Spoiler Up, Moon Roof Open Rear Side View - Spoiler Up, Moon Roof Open Tail Light & Louvre Front View Rear Left View
Hey congrats! It looks great.... Just curious, did you order it or did you pick it up off the lot?
