Sigh. My dealer already has my new set of winter wheels/tires delivered/stored/ready to go on the car as soon as it arrives. I hope winter isn't over when it finally gets here.

Usually MarineTraffic has good arrival estimates at least for the next scheduled stop. I can't imagine the ship being held up very long at Hueneme before heading back down to SD unless those BMW hounds are doing something unsavory. As you probably checked, the ship now claims arriving at Hueneme on 12/22 which based on Shanghai Highway's history is much slower than expected so I'm hoping that the estimated for RL is off by at least a couple of days.

Yes, I read the manual and for the most part it is the same instruction over the first 2K miles. Agreed, he didn't mention most of the other points because they are primarily common sense and you should not be doing those even after the break-in period, e.g. lugging the engine, etc.
Got the Homelink programmed and then went out for another 30 minutes of driving around now that the traffic has faded away ... turned up the Burmester audio and simply took in the great vibes on a few back roads ... should sleep well tonight!
For all still awaiting your deliveries, yes, it will be worth it in the end. My wait started in early May and finally it's over.

Just ordered this (today!). While I enjoyed my C2S this past driving season, I missed a manual and the open air experience that makes my Boxster a joy to drive. Buh Bye C2S, Hello Targa 4 ... Looking forward to a March delivery date !
