I believe it would be just as good for a GTS. From my understanding, you have the exact same transmission and shift mechanism as we do in a C2S. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

After having some seat time in the Gt4 and BSpyder, I am looking forward to adding the SSK on the Club Coupe. Unfortunately, the current set up feels too smooth when comparing it to those other cars. Ordered on Friday, and now need to find a quick installer.

The install is very simple if one has a little mechanical know how. Takes about an hour to do it.

1) Order from Sunset Porsche
2) Install with a buddy with a couple of beers.

I ordered the part from suncoast but my dealer in north jersey refused to install it. They said there's been too many problems with it. Anyone have this issue?

They are only saying that because you did not buy the parts from them, and limited their +100% parts markup. Maybe ask another local dealership?

I agree. They're probably unfamiliar as well so just don't want to do it. Find a good quality independent shop. I paid $280 to get the job done from a high quality shop. To me, the part seems like it'll be super reliable. It feels like it should've always been this way. You won't be disappointed!

In comparison to the GT4 the throws on the stock shifter feel long and somewhat vague. Not apples to apples of course, but this will be an early "upgrade" for me

Just got it installed at the dealer.

Drove it a couple of miles home and everything seemed to be fine. Took it out later to really give it a try and feel it out.. 20 minute into the drive the airbag light came on. Turn the car off.. Back on and it's gone.. Went back home 👎🏾

Anyone have this issue??

Zero issues. Have had the SSK for many months now. I can't even imagine how the SSK could have any airbag issues. There is no link whatsoever with electronics. It is purely mechanical.

That is unless there was a problem re-hooking up the cables during the installation. Do the other buttons on the center console, a/c, etc. work?

Took it out for another drive.. All seems fine with the air bag issue. I'll update you guys if something comes up.

The shifts need a little getting use too but definitely more direct and like others said require Some effort. All in all I'm enjoying it.. And would recommend.
