Thanks for the head's up, STG! I get the car Saturday and will post pics.

I called Brett the day after you posted the car - and went to see it and drive it. The car seemed nearly flawless.

We haggled a little over the course of a week as Sonnen finished the CPO process. Brett was responsive and professional, answering nearly all my questions. Almost all communication was via email, which was great.

A buddy took a look Friday, confirming my impressions, and Brett and I cut the deal Saturday. I signed papers today. Barring any weird delivery issues - which would really surprise me - this has been a very good CPO buying experience, my first.

This forum has been invaluable as I've learned about 991s, the options I want and what to seek e.g. mileage vs MY. I wasn't even seriously looking when this one popped up, but I quickly determined I'd regret passing as there are so few out there with a build so close to my ideal.

I ultimately decided it was worth the relative premium to buy a low mileage, single owner clean car, rather than worry about MY. I plan to keep this car for many years, perhaps putting 2-4k/year on it.

I can't wait to take delivery and begin learning the car, which is by far the most powerful and sophisticated I have ever driven. I want to do a few mods, the first of which will likely be a Sharkwerks center bypass, but I'm in no rush.

I was going to go see that car Thanksgiving weekend but I pulled a ham string on Thanksgiving day playing "touch" football with a couple of nephews who play ball in college.
I'm not 25 anymore and things now go pop, snap, and crackle now and then... Anyway, that car is exactly what I having been looking for, but my luck just hasn't been there yet.
Good luck with the car, it's a beauty!

Just ran across this 2014 C4. Looks like it was in a minor accident, with the rear bumper resprayed. Looks to be just cosmetic. No CPO. Thoughts?

Not sure about how to value the accident, but as a data point, I just purchased a 2013 C4 with 50K miles for just under $60K. Car has PDK, 14-way seats, sport chrono, 19" wheels, Bose, metal sunroof, clean Carfax, and 18 months left on CPO warranty. From my experience, the C4s sell pretty fast so move quickly if you are interested.

Really nice looking car!

Hey guys, I wanted to get your thoughts on the pricing for this CPO 2014 C2S coupe.. fully loaded as you can see, and low mileage. I really can't make sense of their pricing though.. $90k! When I look at similar models for sale and KBB, this really feels like a $75k-$80k car. Am I missing something? What would be a fair price?

Nice looking car! Good options list! I'd say $80-85K is realistic. Anything below $80 will be tough. Maybe make them an offer for around $82 and see what happens.
Good luck!!

Rear bumper respray is nothing. Techs have to remove them every time they work on 991’s so I imagine plenty of cars have resprayed rear bumpers due to even mishandling. If that’s all that was affected, I’d say don’t worry about it.

Nice looking car, but overpriced imho. Plus it's hard to trust any dealer that doesn't know a cab from a coupe.

This feels about right based on my experience having just purchased a 2013 C2S w/8k, set up similarly. In addition to being a model year older, mine lacks Burmeister and PSE (see the Sonnen post from STG about 10 days ago). $80 would be a great price (and would make me jealous. lol).

I'll add that mine was a CPO car. It's not clear that this one is. Mine also was serviced meticulously, on one year intervals, including the 40k. This car doesn't appear to have ever been serviced, at least not at a Porsche dealer.

Good luck!

I was going to ask the same question about this same vehicle. I am contemplating transitioning from my 2015 BMW F80 M3 to the 911. I have mostly owned Corvettes over the past 51 years with the most notable ones being a 1995 LT5 ZR1, 2012 C6 Z06 and a 2014 C7 Z51. I tried to do a search on how one finds out the MSRP of and older 911 such as the one for this 2014 911 Carrera S, please advise how this is accomplished. I was also thinking a good asking price for this vehicle would be closer to 80k but I am in the early stages of the learning about the 911.

Very nice looking and nicely equipped. Re price, yeah it's a bit high but considering it's the Porsche dealer in Palm Springs, CA I'm not surprised in the least (Winter is their high season!). I bet this can be bought for $85K, which would be a decent deal for a CPO with only 10K miles (it IS a CPO, according to dealer's Porsche website).

Thanks for the feedback on the 2014 C4 so far. Any thoughts on this one:
