Hello HFS brethren! I figured what better place than here to first share news of my new to me 991.1. I didn't initially post it on here because I wanted to get it for myself, hah! I first saw a similar car in Miami (white 991.1S w/ sport design package and red interior). I hadn't seen the full red in person and just wasn't sure about it. A week later my local dealer received this car in stock and it was a similar spec, but with even more options (142K MSRP!). I went and checked it out and liked the red in person, plus the painted white interior trim broke offered nice contrast. I fell in love with the car and went back today to see if we could make something work with my 06 Cayman S as a trade. They ended up selling the car to me for 76.2K, but gave me 21,640 for my Cayman S, which with the tax credit comes out to over 23K and I thought that was very fair. The car has the existing CPO warranty until Jan 2019, are doing the intermediate service, four new tires, and a new right headlight (it was slightly chipped). So the bottom line was I'm giving them 58K and my Cayman S and getting this 911. I'm so thrilled. I love everything about the car, it had all my must have options plus a lot of "wow that's nice to have options," plus already has full clear bra on the whole front end and the tints. One weird thing is Carfax says it had 3 prior owners, but to me it looks like two owners and they're showing it as having an extra owner when the owner just moved from AL to TX.

Aerokit, paddle shift wheel, pdk and they didn't option Sport Chrono?? Major screw up on the build. But the price seems attractive, perhaps a bit too attractive. I'm betting paintwork, carfax blem, or other undisclosed issue....

I didn't think I would like that color combo, but it's not too bad in that light.
Interesting combo, not what I would typically prefer but it does have nice overall look IMHO.
Would be nice if an S model, paddles, sport chrono and sport exhaust...

It doesn't say V8. Only says 8 cylinders. Since it is a 911 it must be one of those one-of-a-kind flat 8's that we've heard so much about.
