What is everyone's thought on the value of this car. Carfax shows three owners. Has 23,000 miles and dealer is asking $70,000.. Car is located at Napleton Porsche if anybody is interested.

Hey Hurricane, hey Kid,
Interested to hear how the 911 handles in Winter weather and what depth snow it will handle? Do you have a C2S or C4S? The reason I ask is my wife is planning her next car and since I got my GTS she is feeling very left out.

We have plenty of time to hunt - will pull the trigger later in 2017, but I will be keeping a close watch on pricing here.

Two 911s in the garage?!

This will be my first winter with the C2S. It is just a "fun" car, so not sure I will even take it out in the snow, but definitely taking it out on nice winter days. Most indicate that clearance is the issue with snow, not traction, if a C2S is wearing winter tires.

I am coming out of a '15 S4 + Blizzak WS80s, so the snow-handling bar was set pretty high

I have a C2S w/Powerkit, sport PASM w PDCC, and PCCB. With winter tires, it handles snow just fine, particularly with much of the weight over the driving wheels.

I spent five years in North Dakota (thanks, USAF!) and had a high performance RWD car there for several winters with snow tires. I was confident to handle anything up to 4" of snow - worried only about bottoming out. Truthfully, I probably drove in heavier snow that that with no problem. I NEVER got stuck. I don't really drive my C2S when it is that bad (plus they do a pretty good job of clearing the roads here) but I would still be confident up to around 4", I think. I have an FX35 if the weather is really nasty. If all else fails, my wife's vehicle is a Yukon XL Denali AWD which is a beast in the snow.

The main reason I put winter tires on is because the stock Pirelli P-Zeros suck at 40 degrees or lower (poor traction) and if there is a light or moderate snowfall while I am out, I don't want to be stuck in an unsafe situation.

One time it snowed while I was at work with my Corvette. It was at least an inch or two by the time I got home. With summer run flat tires, it was a very hairy experience trying to nurse it home in light snow.

Also, I put very few miles on my Vette over the years and I am determined not to save my 911 for the next guy. I take great care of it but I am not going to let it sit in the garage when I could be driving it and enjoying it!

A few shots of my previous 2012.5 C2S in the snow: (I currently have a 2013 C2S - snow tires are on but we haven't had any snow yet this winter!)

Sorry for the thread hijack - now back to your regularly scheduled HFS programming!

Driving a Carrera in snow might be a blast until the idiot driving a POS plows into you. That is why I park my Carrera when the weather gets messy.

2012.5 C2S Manual with SC and lots of nice options.

Have we discussed this one??

Great price. Know ZERO about this dealer. No red flags on the history. GREAT $64K price point with relatively low mileage. That's all I know!!
