HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
Instructor
Thanks I can't wait to drive it.
Yes I've been warned about that especially when I start hitting 100mph haha.
I had ignored this car at first because it was priced so high. It caught my attention again when you posted it on here along with the list of options. So thanks again I could not have done this without your help.

Sport Design front bumper is a not so bad project. DOES NEED to get painted by your local body shop. No Porsche parts come painted.
Need to get right bumper version. With/without front parking sensors and windshield spray nozzle holes. Suncoast will get right one based on your VIN #. Also, if it is a third radiator version. Has different center cut out trim pieces.
Lower spoilers are interchangeable. I like the Aerokit Cup one myself.

Good time to add Rennline mesh grills too.

All personal taste. The Sport Design and Aerokit Cup packages are favorites of mine. More sporty looks. Not for everyone.

Thanks!
Thanks this car has carbon ceramic brakes and they keep all wheels clean. That was the main reason I decided to get a car with CCB. I use the car as a daily driver no racing or tracking. From my research if you use it for the streets, CCB will last a very very long time. And if you ever need to replace the rotors just replace with regular steel versions. Just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try CCB.
They are mainly an online outfit. David is the owner and Tony is their finance guy. Both seemed like nice guys. They have a huge warehouse with about 70 cars in inventory. I saw a few Ferraris, Astons, and Bentleys as well.
With regard to price, asking was 87,950 I was able to negotiate 5% off or 83,800 plus shipping. They might have had a better offer but I had all my finances in order.

PCCB (Ceramic) brake pads and rotors should last life of the car. Especially rotors. Very minimal dust which is sweet. Steels give off LOTS of pad dust. You can buy aftermarket low dust brake pads, but you do sacrifice some braking performance.

Holy cow! I just called my local Porsche dealer, gave them the vin number, and they said this car is CPO until December 2018! If that were true this would be icing on the cake. I should run out and buy some lottery ticket or something. Anyways I'm not sure how long after a sale before their system updates. But I'm going to have this car thoroughly checked by the dealer when I get it. Might as well take advantage of free repairs if it's available to me.
You might get lucky, but *if* you have a major warranty claim and *if* they check carfax and find out it was sold via a non-Porsche dealer, they would have cause to not provide any additional CPO warranty coverage.
Still an awesome car... Just don't bank on the transferred CPO coverage saving your bacon if you have a large warranty claim.

If you bought it from the owner, or via consignment from any dealer, or from a franchised Porsche dealer, the full Porsche CPO warranty applies. I combed this thread and didn't see where you bought it in any other way. So it seems you could/should expect the Porsche CPO warranty to apply. If you bought it from a third party dealer who took title, then technically a CPO warranty would not apply. But Porsche might not be able to see this aspect of your purchase. So, which is it?
