I would try and stick with it since you have seen the car in person and like it. At least the dealer has looked at it extensively and you know what you are dealing with. I know it is a pain, but you have gone this far already. Be patient, and just get the deal done.

Your corner nondescript used car dealer would not sell you a known overheating car, and neither should CarMax. Got the feeling they decided to bring it back for their own mechanics to deal with it

Nice build, but as a 'reserve not met' auction currently at ~$60K, and with 56,000 miles on the car, it might be a hot deal, or might be a dreamer. Also the aero kit isn't on the build sheet, so presumably added post sale.

I know the 60K service on 996/997 gen 911's is extensive and quite expensive. Anybody have a 60K service done on their 991? Typical dealer charge?
