Don't mean to come across the wrong way, but hope you get where I'm coming from. Please hang out here and contribute. Some great 991's get posted here! Happy Holiday's
Dodging the bullet here. Mr. Guards Red is not a convertible and Mr. Ruby Red doesn't have the guard's burmester and isn't CPO. If things continue this way I might have to change purchase plans. I have seen the Ruby one earlier, just missing the last bit.
Thanks everybody.
I'm sure I'll get significant disagreement, but if have the Burnester in my TT and ordered the BOSE in my BGTS. the Burmester is far better than the BOSE, but the difference becomes very much less noticeable (to our ears) once the car is being driven.
The CPO Is another question altogether. If it isn't, can it be and if it can't, why not?
That Ruby car looks like an awesome deal for a great GT cruiser.

Ruby isn't being sold by a Porsche dealer. It can only be CPO'd when going through a Porsche dealers inventory. Cannot just roll into the dealer and buy one.
Maybe the Infinity dealer can do a transfer of the car to a Porsche dealer of your choice, and then the P dealer can certify it. Would obviously cost you $ to do it. The Porsche dealer would essentially do a wholesale buy for the car, and then sell it to you. Would cost like $3K for the CPO, and I'm sure a little extra $ for the Porsche dealers work. Possible, but not very common.

Do you by a chance have had exposure to the 997 Bose? The 991 Bose seems to be downgraded from the 997 but I can't get first hand reports. It is obviously less valuable speaker wise but you don't know whether general technology progress and the increased room in the 991 make the two generations of Bose equivalent after all.
Now you people made me check out Ruby more closely...

I'm not in the market, but thanks. Not a PDK fan either. If I get rid of my TT, it'll be because of the PDK. I haven't driven the TT since I picked up the Boxster, but it's AWD and has Alpins on. It's 67 here today, which is absurd. I'm driving the BGTS until I can't.

No, sorry. Went from a 993 to a '13 BS to TT plus BGTS. Missed the 996 and 997s altogether.
Anybody know if that rear spoiler on the aerokit is one piece or does it come off? Haven't looked at one up close so was wondering if it's a panel in the rear deck or just molded in? Not a big spoiler fan on a street car.
