Great. Another Racing Yellow here! Car has been for sale for a while. Has a super build too! The $$ was great too. Maybe you did even better.

Can't wait I hear the story. Looking forward to the HFS Alumni post.

It's Cream White

A good comeback or response to the booster! One of your funny pics or gifs. You seem self conscious. How tall are you?? Ha ha.

I just checked out another Carmax car... A 2015 Cayman GTS. Price was great, options were nice, but again, it was a bit beat. Big scratch on the passenger door, filthy, some curb rash. NOT the kind of Porsche I look for. I know that some folks have gotten great cars from Carmax, but I've now looked at perhaps six different Porsches from them, and every one of them was cosmetically unacceptable to me.

The thing about carmax is that you can 'hold' a car at the click of a mouse button with zero obligation, or have it shipped a few states away or across the country for a modest fee, so cars seem to toggle between available/unavailable quite a bit.

In Colorado, you can ship in any AWD car from any other carmax and they waive the non-refundable transport fee... I'm sure its not really intended for AWD Porsches, but you can bring in a Turbo, C4, C4S from anywhere to check out with no cost.

That's not a booster. It's a lumbar pad. Just looks like it fell over on the seat. My guess is that he has 4 ways and uses a lumbar pad.

I have also installed the Passport 9500 with rear view integrated read out, and a front/rear dash cam. CPO until 11/8/2019. Dealer has also installed a center radiator to keep the car nice and cool during the hot summers, upgraded my rotors to girodiscs and have yellow pagids. Expel front, side and rear quarters.
I have done 3 PCA sponsored track days which were absolutely a blast. Planned to do more and purchased a set of track tires/wheels but have not had much time and now it is time to go overseas. I have to sell it.
Question: should I market the car as a track ready car and include the track tires/wheels or would that scare buyers away?
Also, do you think $79 k is a good price?

Thanks
A bit weird, that VIN pulls up literally a zero option car. White paint, black interior, done.

It's pretty rare that buyers view a tracked car as a plus, unless it's a pro shop built race car. Three PCA DE events really isn't all that much track time, including dedicated wheels and tires perhaps implies more. In short, no, don't bundle the wheels. You might want to put on better street pads than the Pagid Yellows as well. Still have the oem pads in decent shape?

I agree. Marketing as a "track car" is never a positive for a sale unless it's really a track car. As close to OEM as possible, the better too.

With those miles, and other factors we know, $79K might be a bit aggressive.

BTW, thanks for running this thread. Invaluable, fun, and very helpful to buyers, "lookers", and sellers!
Best and fastest color in the current portfolio! Well done, congratulations
