What I like to see. LISTINGS. Too much chatter lately about unicorn build wants and 991.1 Christmas lists to Santa.

This one just popped up. Build sheet shows to be 7 speed manual. Priced pretty well for a 2014 at $82,995.

That pricing is crazy. Order a 2018, get 7% discount and its not that far away from the asking price.

GTS's are attractive in the $110K-$112K price point as they have been for over a year now.
Buying new 2018's isn't a HFS consideration ever.

I get that, my point being that a brand new car is just a short stretch away from the pricing on that 3 year old car.....making that pricing, despite being a fabled GTS, pretty darn crazy.
In otherwords, that pricing is nuts, I didn't mean buy a 2018 instead.

Gotcha.
At $110K I'd endorse it.
Obviously a C2S in the $80's is a better value overall.
On the other hand, GTS's will hold up better resale wise than a comparable S MSRP.

Lighter...more practical 5 lug wheels...same engine/same power and comes with SC and PSE...
The premium for the GTS over an S will diminish over time, too...may take a while, though.

Agree.
The X51 S's are practically unicorns though.
The GTS has more downside than the S's agree. The price delta will settle at $10K-$15K difference at some point.

Still...the pinnacle of 991.1 Carreras are the GTS's or Powerkit S's....very desirable!
Someone posted an X51 a page or two back. Other than a leather interior (or seats) and no sunroof, it seemed fairly nicely equipped. Someone should jump on that car!
