I Swear By The Torque that I will buy the very next hot convertible that comes alone. As long as it is medium metallic green, saddle brown leather, burmester, 18-way seats, heated steering wheel, door sill covers in leather and white instruments. There.

I feel you guys. I've been searching for a sport design C2S (cab or coupe) 991.1 for over a month now and my last 2 PPI's failed. Even visited 2 different states. I became so frustrated that I took a big detour and my current offer is on a GT4 (should know by next week). A little concerned I'll still want the 911 but perhaps I can switch for a '15 or '16 GTS in a year or two instead.

Here's an interesting one. 2014 991 C4S, PTS, PDK with Sport PASM and PSE, Carbon fiber trim, black leather, glass sunroof. 20K miles, CPO, asking $94k, $50k off original MSRP of $144k. Not sure what that PTS color is but it sure pops!

Not my taste but gauges can always be swapped out.

(And I have yellow gauges in a black car so tastes may vary...)

Yes, it is very nice, I even test drove it. I like it a lot, but my payment will be about $200 a month more than the Amethyst one. So I have to decide if I would rather have a C2 with the color I like, also have to change out the steering wheel, or pay less for a C4 with about 11000 total miles on it also having to add PSE. The Blue C2 only has 1200 total miles, I know that sounds so crazy. And because it has crazy low miles, they are not willing to negotiate as hard.

May I ask what failed in the 2 PPI's?

Those two San Antonio cars seem to be nicely priced...but no CPO? So, have to add $2.5K to 3k to get them CPOed?

So what did you think of the Yellow gauges with the LB interior?

The Yellow gauge is only the Sport Chrono. That can be easily changed. It is the exterior color. But then that is an individual taste. You have to live with it, not us. Price is competitive. I like the Blue one better, though

Dbull65, congrats on finding an Amethyst Metallic 991! One of my all-time favorite Porsche colors.

Actually all the gauges are yellow. Also concerning the exterior, I did not think I would like it when I read about it. However, when I pulled into the dealership, that was the first car I saw, in that it really stood out and not in a bad way. The Amethyst paint is hard to photograph, and in person it does look better. Also, I would assume it would be really rare, not going to see another one very often.

Looks to me you have convinced yourself. Actually all Yellow and tan may actually work with that exterior. I was thinking it was only the chrono watch
