What do you guys think of the PCCB brakes? Will it hurt future resale? I heard there were some premature failures....I'm not looking to track the car.
Boys, haven't I taught you guys anything ??

Don't like the steering wheel??? An easy $1,500 swap over to the Sport one. You're saving $30-$50K++ off MSRP. What's a small investment to fix a small thing you don't like??

PCCB's are GREAT. No brake dust. For street driving, even the pads will last the life of the car! An option that returns nearly nothing at resale when buying new, but great to pick up in the second hand market.

Seems a bit heavy for 2 yrs old compared to the other great stuff you've been sending. Do you have a trusted guy here? (meaning westmont?)

No contact there. The car is $$. Better off finding a 5-10K mile car for sub $90K in my opinion.

This car will lose $10K by the time you put another 5K miles on it.

Default John at North Houston

By the By....John from North Houston is definitely a stand up guy. Had a great "Face-Time" session where he went over all the details of my target car/s and was very through, detailed and an all around great guy....Just saying. Thanks for the recommend Stg!

Is there more headroom with a sunroof or without? Counter intuitive, but I've found in most other cars, headroom is better overall WITHOUT a sunroof. Does the same hold true for 911? ??? I'm 6'4" and this is very important to me. I've only driven 2 911's and they both had sunroofs. It was tight but not uncomfortable. Seems like in pics of non-sunroofs, the interior roof follows same contours of outside and seems to have more headroom. Any help would be appreciated.

That white C2S was custom ordered by someone who knows how to option a Porsche. Base radio and no sunroof,Ceramics, and X51, someone needs to move on this car!

Anyone know what "target" price should be for a 2012 or 2013 991 S? Say 20-30k miles. Hoping to score one from some sort of non-Porsche dealer, say someone selling Dodge trucks, hoping they just want it gone. Feel free to post any applicable cars. Looking for 7MT and Sport Chrono, could also live with PDK/Sport Chrono/Sport wheel.

I have a lead on a 4S, but the car is about $6k more than I want to spend, and am also worried that a 4S is less desirable come resale time. Not sure I want a 4S either....I know it's a heck of a car either way, but it seems my first P-car should at least be RWD, correct?

Default Dealers

Just got off the phone with another "dealer" closer to me and let's just say the difference between him and my otherwas remarkable. Cocky, stand-offish, and condescending is no way to go through life....especially if your price is way over market. Oh-well, I'll pay the shipping any day to be appreciated with at least some respect for writing a humongous check for the right car.

Salesmen are salesmen, no matter if they're selling Yugos or Porsches or Ferraris or dishwashers or life insurance.

Once you get the car you want, you won't think about the jerks you met along the way ever again.
